This # called me 3 times yesterday, & then 567-224-4591 called me 2 times today. I got a new phone & haven't had a chance to set up the voice mail, so I have no clue what they want. But after reading these posts, I'm glad I haven't answered them. I wish they would stop calling. They call over & over again.

The same thing happened to me on march 4th.  Same thing with a man with an Indian accent only mine had to do with my taxes for 2010.  Notified my lawyer and he said it is a scam that someone is running all  across the country and to just not return the call.  So be warned if anyone else reads this.

just received a phone call from this number stating that there is a legal case against me and i need to call this number right away. i did not call them back but went to google and found this website and information which confirms what i suspected. the guy that called me has a heavy accent.

This number called and left a message, so I called them back. They claimed that my husband filed false info on his tax return and that is fraud. I told them that my husband is deceased, so that didn't stop them. They told me that if I didn't pay this tax bill "NOW", they would have the police sent to my house within 20 minutes to take me to jail for 6 months. I told them that I will call them back and I call H & R block and they told me that this is clear fraud. I also contacted the police dept, just in case these people would be bold enough to come to my home. I must admit that I though that maybe my husband truly owed this but the red flag was: 1. Toledo, Oh show up on my caller I.D, 2. The IRS knows that my husband is deceased, 3. The police dept wouldn't be involve in these matters.

Our actual callers name was Charles Hendrick stating that I was a primary suspect in question regarding a legal case of tax fraud. After avoiding a few question he was rude and hung up me. I proceeded to call back using a false number and they answered like it was The Dept of Legal Affairs at the US treasury Dept. The guy who answered said he was Tim and with a heavy accent ... after I explained who I was and wanted to get their address the person proceeded to state that I should now where they are and hung up on me.

The number is 567-244-4583 which is no longer available.

They say they are dept of legal affair Jack Spring OH Verbal notify action under my name. they have called 3 times.

Call the FTC at 877-382-4257 to file complaint.  this place is a scam.  Do not talk to them.

My husband tried to return the call. It rang several times and even connected but no one picked up!

A man with an Indian accent called our home during business hours asking for my husband who works in town but not in our home. When informed my husband was not available, he left message " Tell him to call Charlie Adams at the Department of Legal Affairs at 567-244-4583." When asked what this was in regard to, he said, "Regarding the lawsuit against him".
