Yes they are scamming!

They have been calling me for days and I have never applied for a loan.  They have my sons minor saving account information and everything. They told me yesterday they were going to call child protective services on me and today I was told that they were waching me and were going to personally pick me up and bring me in. They say they are McKenzie Law Firm

Started getting calls every 2 seconds from this number threatening. And when I called the number back someone said hello and I asked them who they were looking for and to never call this number they hung up.

Ok I am in Law Enforcement when they called me they asked for my badge number which I gave them cause badge number really doesnt matter lol anyways they started to scream at me I made some bull crap of that I am tracing them from my securced line they hung up I called back they hung up again I called again and someone said that there was a mistake and that they are trying to reach a  different person soooooo I am not saying impersonate an officer but try making some bull crap up.  The I am at the office at the FBI cause I feel threatened by your calls will also rattle there bretches and if they are a Law Firm lol whichj theyu arent cause I called Baker and Mckenzie they said they get many calls about this as well and that they are also attempting to track this company down and file so please dont get scammed and do be scared if anything take some anger out on these horrible people

I have been receiving numerous calls from this number both at home and at my place of employment.
I recently filed Bankruptcy because of Payday loan harrassment and they continue to call.

I am going to report this to the Federal trade Commision and if it continues I will press charges against them for harrassment.

I received a call from this number threatening me to return the call or have my attorney do it and they barely spoke English and stated I owed alot of money and I better not ignore this.  This is not true and I do not appreciate being threatened over the phone or my number being given out to anyone!!!

I had the very same experiences.  However, now they are asking for payment in the form of a pre-paid credit card from Walgreens or WalMart.  They are very rude and very intimidating....but this is a scam.  Do not give them anything they want.  They claimed to be from the Law firm of Baker and Makenzie.

Same thing they called me left a mess!!!
I call them back saying that I was a police officer, and that I have residents complaining about this #
And I told them that I need their address so we can take this to court, and the lady didn't know what to said
And she hung up the phone!!! Scam I had another guy calling from Los Angeles same words it's a recording!!! Don't send money

I have had the same issue with these people.  Have they stopped calling you?  They would call my office number over, and over...annoyed everyone at my office! They finally blocked one of the numbers from our phones!

SCAM!  They find your information when you go online to research for a payday loan.  Do not give them ANY information. They are a SCAM!  Do not let them intimidate you either!  They can do NOTHING!  I called the one company that I had a loan through and they gave me this advice!

they left a message in a very thick accent saying not to disregard and either have myself or my attorney call.  they couldn't even pronounce my name right.  plus you could hear alot of talking in the background.

I received to calls back to back did not answer it because the caller id said Ohio and I know noone in Ohio.

This number called my cell twice in 15 minutes!  Left threats against my husband!  I filed a complaint with the FTC https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/  

We looked into an online payday loan and now my phone is ringing off the hook with every payday loan company there is and now this!  I'm scared to answer my phone now!  I will go off on them, I have before!

Getting a new number ASAP!  I really dislike these idiots that have nothing better to do but threaten people!  I wish them the worst of luck in getting anyone to understand what they are saying, the only thing I understood was my husbands name and don't disregard this message!  It was a LONG Message that I had to listen to and try and figure out what the heck she was saying!

They are using a magic jack phone and calling from India thats why it shows up as a CA or Ohio number. They most likely got your info from a payday loan site, Do NOT give them a dime it is a scam they will try to bully you into sending them money via western union. They call and claim to be with a law firm and will say things like "if you dont send $300 you will be arrested by the next day" or " you commited wire transfer fraud and will lose your job" these people use very simple american names exp John smith, Jessica jones, Brian davis, Nathan Rice. Do not worry they cant do anything to you but they do need to be reported.. I received these calls regarding a co-worker so I started to look into it. I called the number back and a man answered using a american accent but the more questions i asked the more upset he got and the indian accent came out. He refused to give me a address or even a fax number. A few mins later he called my co-worker at work threatning him saying a investigation team was on the way to arrest him. 2 mins later he called me back still claiming to be a lawyer I told him I had reported him to the police and he responded with "your a f**king stupid idiot woman' and hung up on me. You can report these people to  F T C the number is 877-382-4357 they deal with identity theft. Now time is money to these people its just a suggestion but calling these people and taking up thier time is keeping them from calling and scamming others they will become so annoyed with you they will stop calling, it worked for me :) good luck

Calked 2 moths ago claiming i have charges against me didnt kno Info....then called today claimin the same but had sum bull thst i owe a payday loan but never hsd one....calked back snd they was lost.....scam

This is rediculous!!!! How are they even getting my information??? They know what bank I am with and everything! How do I resolve this?

I recieved a phone call from 5672482797 requesting that call them concerning an urgent matter. The woman had a very thick asian Indian accent stating that she was representative of the law firm. You can background voices saying the same thing to other people on the phones.

SCAM: Left a scary, threatening sounding voicemail stating an attorney is trying to get a hold of me. Do not worry- this is a scam and they are trying to scare you to giving them money.

CALLING TALKING I OWE SOMETHING AND SAID THEY WAS COMING TO JOB TO ARREST ME BUT BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH
