This person called my father-a disabled combat vet who has never taken out a payday loan EVER-and told him there was a lawsuit pending against him and papers
would be filed the next day.I called him back(could barely understand him)and he said it was for $310-I burst out laughing and I said omg you are f---in stupid,you're gonna tell
me that you expect me to believe you're travelling all the way from Ohio for $310..I asked him since this lawsuit was allegedly pending what county we live in and what the docket number was.I told him by threatening false legal action he was in direct violation of the fdcpa and if anybody was suing anybody i'd be hauling his sorry probably outsourced for 10 cents an hour a** into court for that.he told me(I think) to suck his d--k and hung up.what an a-hole.I called him back and I said what did
you say?using abusive language=another fdcpa violation..hung up
again.So i called back again and said come on dude let's hear all about this lawsuit you were so eager to talk about..he hung up again.I don't take well to shake downs and this guy-I hope his sorry a** ends up in jail.

it seems that I am hit with a wave of calls from this number, and after discussing with an attorney, I was advised that this was a scam but i find the calls very unnerving, and annoying.  They never pronounce my name correctly. The name provided by the caller this time was John Allen, from the O'Connell Law Firm( because of the accent, I think this is correct).  I told him the party  I was not available and the number was in my phone and I decided to Google the number, reaching this site.  I will not be returning any calls, and I am so tired of these calls.  I would like for them to stop.

I received 1,000,000 phone calls from these guys also and they told me that I was going to have a lawsuit filed Against me for 8000 dollars if I didn't pay a past due payday loan up 250 dollars So I started talking with them knowing that it wasa scam. I couldn't understand them but after about 50 * of the guy repeating himself I finally made out the name of the company And supposably they are from" o'connor and davis legal associates". Anyways I went round and round with this guy as he kept threatening me and trying to pressure me into Giving them money which I had told them that my identity has been stolen and all my money has been taken from me and I had no bank account Then he got really mad and said that he thinks that I don't wanna pay them back. At that point I have had enough so I told him that he should probably go strap some c 4 to his chest and blow himself up! Then i began yelling jihad for Allah and i have never heard from them again so apparently that works also.........p.s.       no offense to any legitimate muslums out there.

Received a call from "Megan White" (with an Indian accent? sure.) that I or my attorney needed to contact them and if I didn't, good luck. I don't respond to threats, so when I did get a person on the phone, it was "John Smith" (another Indian accent. sure.) who told me I was involved in a lawsuit and became very belligerent when I asked who they were, what they wanted, and asked more specific information. A legitimate company would give all the information I asked for. This guy screamed abuse, asked over me, and expected me to be cowed. Nice try.

Since I had looked up payday loans online, I guess this is how they got my number. BE WARY of giving out information to payday loan companies! I have already had to close my bank account due to another company scamming me out of money. There are legit ones out there - dig deep.

A very nasty threatening message that I better call them back or I will be in deep trouble with the law.  The name of the company was never mentioned.

This message came from a man name Shawn or Sean Jackson, he said I better call him back or I will be in deep trouble with the law.  He also said I better not ignore this phone call or I will be in deep trouble with the law. I get this call every day all day and it is getting annoying

This guy with a thick accent has called me 3 times today, leaving voicemails.  Curious, I called the number back.  He then proceeds to give me my social security number!!!! I did not confirm that it was in fact mine, i denied it and said you have the wrong person.  I do not have any "matters" against me that if I do not call back "all i can do is wish you the best of luck."  I am reporting these criminals to all the proper agencies.

HE CALLED AND FIRST OF ALL COULDNT PRONOUNCE MY NAME! THEN HE TELLS ME THAT HE IS GOING TO GET HIS OFFICER ON THE PHONE WHICH WAS ANOTHER MAN OF HIS DECENT, THEN HE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME THAT I AM IN A LEGAL MATTER WITH WHATEVER LAW FIRM HE CALLED OUT, I COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND HIM AND I WORK WITH PEOPLE OF ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF DECENT AT MY JOB. I TOLD HIM THAT THIS HAS BEEN TRIED ON ME BEFORE AND THE LAST TIME I REPORTED THEM TO THE FBI AND I WILL DO THE SAME THING TO YOU IF YOU CALL AGAIN. THE PHONE WENT DEAD, SO I CALLED FROM ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER AND TOLD HIM THAT I WAS FROM THE FBI AND HE IS BEING TRACKED AND HE HUNG UP, NO CALLS SINCE LOL LOL LOL AND THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME WHILE I WAS AT WORK LIKE 20 MINUTES AGO. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

theses freaking people from idk i can hardly understand them. call me every day 50 times yesyerday alone and no im not lying they call i answered the first time cas it had a number he said they had my ss number that some company  they worked for said they put 300 dollars in my bank i was like bullcrap then they said i needed to get a laywer and ill end up paying them 5000 i hung up called my bank and nobody put 300 in my account for over a year .so wn he called right back i told him that and i hung up .he kept calling like i said 50 times i couldnt believe it i called the police he told me how to do the reverse phone thing then call the better buisness bueo on them so ill be doing that monday

For several weeks, sometimes twice a day I get this call. Knew it was a scam from the first hello. I told my new Indian, Pakistani, Afghan friend I didn't trust him and was not going to even look at my computer while talking to him. Phone went dead. Another time I asked for his number and I would call him back. Phone went dead. Today I got a name, Alex. Same scam as described above, "sit down at your computer, I'll show you the problem so we can fix it blah blah blah". I have tried all the nice stuff, now I want to hunt them down and put sand in their underwear. 567-244-4191 I'm looking for you.

They continue to call us and are obnoxious.  He goes by Zack Martin, but the name does not match the accent.

How do we stop this ?

This guy  said he wanted to confirm my ss number cause of a law suit against me.  There is no law suite against and plus he got my ss number wrong.  I couldn't understand him with his accent.  When  I told him yet again that's not my SS number I just hung up.  I couldn't even make out the name of the so called law office.  I called them back and they hung up on me.

i got a call from a john smith who said he was calling from the oconnar daily legal. they have been calling me all day the latest was im going to jail. recently i applied for one of tgose pay day loans. this is how i believe they got my number. earlier he kept calling and i finally answered and i screamed what do you want, tell me this nasty b*****d didnt say something sexual.this is harrasment, oh and they defernetly were some type of indian or pakastan.
