I just got this call. This is such a scam.

This William Tanner has been calling from the same phone number and I called my phone company and had his number blocked  that is the only thing that will stop him.  He has called my family and my son who is a deputy and answered the call by saying "Officer so and so" this guy then hung up and has not called back. I just called my phone company and told them once again about this guy and the legal department said for me to tell everyone to call their home phone companies and  cell phone companies and this number can be blocked, best of luck to all  of you and I hope the hang the "b" by his "b"s.

So glad to see I am not the only one to be "scared" by this creep! I tried to get him to give me information about this so-called loan I took out, but he could not. When I tried to explain to him that I just couldn't pay someone over the phone for something I was not familiar with without further information, he kept telling me I would get all documents when I was arrested this afternoon! I guess you others were not arrested, so now I can resume my day/evening in peace and file my report on this number too. Thanks!

I have been receiving a calls from a William tanner with this same number...and also leaving me messages ....informing me that I am going to be prosecuted due to a default on a payday loan from EZ payday loan of which I never signed for or ever applied for. Then when I confronted this person about how I have all my bank statements and how I can prove I never had this loan given to me . He proceeded to tell me he was going to take this to court today. Also that they will be coming to arrest me some time today. That I needed to pay this promptly ...my response was go ahead and and have me arrested as the one that  should and will soon be in jail will be him and I hung up. So everyone beware as this is a scam. Will someone please put this jerk behind bars soon I am sure that they are preying on the individuals whom get scared and  then pay them on or him this money. Will someone in law enforcement please step up and get this jerk soon....thank you. also I agree with Cooper that these online companies should be found and held liable as well.

This William Tanner person keeps calling. Now they are leaving voice messages at my job, where all calls are being recorded. I am really getting tired of this. I want them caught and prosecuted, but I also want the online companies found liable as well. They are getting info from these companies by either not having stronger network security to keep them from being hacked or they are selling peoples info. Either way it sucks!

I got the same message and said he needs my attorney name anf call him back.   What a scam.

I also received a call from William Tanner, threatening legal action on some loan I didn't take.  He called my cell 5 times and left five messages within 10 minutes and then called my job and left the same message.  He did wish me luck if I didn't call him back the second I received the message because the sheriff's office would be coming to my job to take me away.  I won't hold my breath waiting for them to show.

I just got a call from this no. and told me to get a lawyer, that the police would be here soon! Told me I owed money to some company! Scam!!

I just received the same call.  I hung and he called me back to back 3 times and left a vm saying if you don't call back the police will come and all he can say is good luck.

Please do something with this people, i have reported them to my state police and also to the FBI agents and they know it is a scam and im not falling for this so please get a job and a life and quit harrasssing people that are trying to make a living for themselves and there families.

Dave, I would not worry about it. They told me the same sob story as before. These ppl use scare tactics to get you riled up and scared to pay them but don't do it. I have reported them to the police, FTC, and the FBI. I would give the FBI the dates, times, names, what they said and phone numbers that they have used to contact you. I have already reported them to the FBI once again so that they will know these scumbag scam artisits are still at it. Like I have mentioned in my other posts, karma is a serious B**** and when it hits them, I hope I am there to see it!

I just got a call too what info have u found out?They told me it was about a ez money advance on line and to call a attorny because cops would be ot to arrest in 2 to 3 hours. Just wondered if this what call u got too? Also what legal info did u find out?

I just received a threatening message from these idiots. This is a scam and the police will be notified.

I just got a call from these scumbags. Says there is legal action against me. Sounds like a great scam to call people at their jobs and harrass them when they know good and well I'm not falling for this scam. Time to go back to the fbi to start reporting again.
