Had a friend called by a so called computer service company COL LLC, wanted to know if he needed his computer serviced.  He told him he did and COL LLC technician stayed on his computer for 1 hour while he waited for service to be finished.  The technician was of indian descent ( I don't know why race matters) and he did an excellent job and even included a service package for future care. There must be some type of mix up with this company and the service provided.

May 13, 2014 Same stories as above someone hacking yadayada. This is a scam "Ryan Smith" when I asked him later in the call he changed his name. The thick middle eastern accent did not seem to match the names...Long story short I pretended that I couldn't find the windows key, I keep playing with him which was upsetting him. When asked what company he was from and what the phone number was he had to ask someone (wouldn't you know who employs you and the phone number??)  A Supervisor gave me"567-252-5225"  the number on my phone was 1-978-780-7809 this is a bogus company...

Prank Call
I received a call from this number. An Indian man with a strong accent told me I had some terrible viruses on my computer.  I could hear a "boiler room" of voices in the background.  I said I couldn't understand what the man was saying.  The "supervisor" came on line and asked me to push and hold the Windows key and hold the "r" key.  They told me the CLSID number that appeared on my screen.  I told them I still did not trust them and they gave me this phone number to call them back.  They then wanted me to use CTRL/J   It looked like they were trying to get me to give them access to my computer and I kept repeating  that I did not trust them.   They said my computer would be locked down after a short time and they wanted to fix it.  At that point I hung up on them.

Today is April 19, 2014 (Tomorrow is Easter). Getting ready to leave the house to head out for a dinner when Sam called from "Windows Cellwar Tech". to alert me to the fact that my computer has a virus. Since we have 7 computers at our home, I queried him with regard to which one was infected. He wanted to know if I am the main person in charge of the computers for my home. I said "Maybe". Never got very far with this line of communication. When I asked Sam if we could call back he gave us this number: 567-252-5225. Most likely this will not be the number that I will dial to secure protection from viruses, malware, spyware, et cetera.

Had a friend just get scammed (computer "service" call in the middle of the night) from this number.  Claims that their organization (which was given as COL LLC) identified problems with my friend's computer from some "world routing department", and, of course would be happy to clean up the problem for a credit card number.  Heavy Indian accent.  Email address that they posted traces back to colsinc19@yahoo.com, which in turn traces back to Michael Krygier at 1045 Gentry Drive, South Lyon, MI 48178. Beware!  Report to FTC.

Does anyone recognize this number? It was an Indian man who claimed he had to help me "fix" my computer because he is the only provider for Windows to correct malware ... he claimed that I had a terrible virus and he wanted the serial number for my computer ... so he could "help me" fix it.

Why would you ask them if they are Microsoft? They are going to pretend they are. That doesn't mean they are. Microsoft doesn't contact people like this, ever.

567-252-5225 phone number is affiliated with http://it-solutions.in . India based low brow type company who scam people by making cold calls all over the United States, Canada and so forth . If they actually can talk some sucker into it (and i cant understand why people would fall for this) they have you go through a series of steps and  infect your computer station with a remote access program and take controll of your system. then hold your comuter hostage and charge you an amount of money. If you don't pay the amount then you're locked out and would have to hire a real computer tech locally to repair the lock out .
Long story short do not be stupid and fall for this type of con people . 567-252-5225 = http://it-solutions.in  CON ARTIST COMPANY look it up its actually a pathetic looking web site and obviously created by low tech un-educated people lol ! Even funnier is reading the terms of use and cancelation policy . Roflmao

called this am claiming to be Windows IT dept.  Asked for his phone number since it was blocked.  They gave me 567-252-5225 and told me they were calling from Delaware...but later told me they were calling from India.  Told me his name was Jason Green.  Asked me to sit in front of my computer, go to programs and files, Type in CMD then type in ASSOC in the command prompt.  I didn't do this.  But kept asking questions. Then the guy said vulgar things and I hung up.  This is not a legitimate call.

I received a call today and asked for his number ( 567-252-5225). He said he was a Windows tech and I had malware on my computer. This is the second time he's called me six months. I kept hanging up on him and he kept calling back. I asked him to prove who he was and he could not do it. What's the deal? All I know you give any information out to someone that calls you.

Got the same person calling one of my home accounts about her microsoft windows being an illegal license and he needed to connect to look at it.  His name was "Jim Morrison"  and he was working from 7am to 1pm EST.  When you call the number it rings and goes dead and says that number that you are calling is not taking calls at this time, lol.   Gotta love the scammers and telemarketers....  From what i can tell from looking this up, is that they have you get them connected to you pc via a remote software package and then they install something on your pc and it keeps it from working properly. Then they say that they will need to find someone local to the person to come out to repair it.  In turn they call a local vendor and tell them that they have a customer that they would like them to service and they setup a deal with them to do the work for a percentage of the money that was charged to the customer.  This is the second them this has happened to one of my home customers, the first time they threatened them that they will disable thier license (which they cant) if they did not let them into their pc to look at it and fix it.  These people need to get a life and stop trying to scam others just because they have nothing better to do.

Get a whistle or boat fog horn!  Then start picking up and hanging up quickly - the quicker you id the bad number and do this the better.  And do file reports on them. Maybe they get those shut down, but most are over in india so it will take

Also report this to the FTC,FCC & DNC..

This is now the third "company" that has called us.   All with different names, but ALL with Eastern Indian accents.  Sounds like they are having a party in background. They call for days on end at all different times.
