indian accent, said someone was hacking my computer, wanted me to turn on computer, noise in background

just got a call from this number  the do not call list is a joke I am on it but lately getting call after call from all kinds of bs numbers its a pain in the a** so sick of this They use magic jack alot and can spoof alot of numbers from God knows where  these people are hard to find even if you report them   I would be reporting about 5-6 times a day   gees  even on cell phones these jerks should have their fingers cut off  lol

12-5-13 I received a call from 567-252-5557. The man had an India accent. He told me he was calling because they were receiving many electronic error messages from my Windows operating system. I asked him to remove my number from his calling list, but he kept insisting he was just trying to correct the computer problem. I only use my home computer once every two weeks and I have not had any error messages show up that were sent electronically to Microsoft. I hung up.

Same guy as others have reported, thick persian accent. He claimed my computer was being hacked right now! I needed to turn on my computer and follow his instructions. The caller id says Lake Mar Ohio.

hubby got call from number multiple times. Same crap. Thick Indian accent. Warned computer would be hacked and he needed to access my computer (presume "shadow" me) by using the CTRL + MS key + R.
Asked why he was calling me instead of sending out a mass email warning to MS subscribers and he said that it was "faster to call because there were so many". Say what????
When asked what the "hackers" were trying to get, he replied "your banking information". When I told him I do not use online banking, he said "oh, you are so smart" (sarcastically). I responded that he sounded like an a** and that I thought he was the "hacker".
He then responded with multiple repetitions that  I was an "***hole".
I disconnected. Tried to reverse call and the recording stated "the subscriber requested that no inbound call were to be accepted".
5 minutes later, got ANOTHER phone call, Indian accent, noise in background, and the caller--trying to be serious but couldn't--started to laugh, so I hung up on the b*****d again.

PS--not sure where others' caller ID display, but ours identifies Lakeside Mar Ohio as source of call, but this of course can be a false ID location.

Received a call from this same number.  Same song and dance as a lot of these callers.  Thick accent, said he was from "microsoft security department".  LOL  my husband is mcse and when i told the guy that, he hung up.  when i called back, got a recording that mailbox was full and an error occurred.  Going to find out who to report this one to, like the last one.  Trying the fcc first.

Received call from (567) 252-5557 today. This, too, was a man with a thick, India accent. He told me he was with Microsoft, and told me my computer was hacked and if I would give him money, he would save my computer.  I challenged him on it, and he continued his spill, so I hung up!

Calls at all hours of the day & night...no message left and I am on the DNC list for PA

Man called me from 567-252-5557 with Indian accent with lots of background noise telling me he was from the Department of Education. I said department of education from where? He then told me he had good news for me on how I could be reimbursed money...I hung up on him.

Call from 567-252-5557 calling my cell number  Caller had a Thick India Accent - wanting to explain my electricity bill & how I could save money.  

I told him this phone number is registered with the Do Not Call Registry, remove my number from their list, & if they call again, I would report them & they would be fined.  

The man calling kept claiming that it is not a sales call, they just want to show me how to save money.  His accent was so thick, I could not make out what company he said he was with.  After warning him not to call again, I hung up.  

this number is just 1 in a series of calls ive been getting....they never leaves a message...when you return a call it goes to a mailbox thats full....do not answer or call......this number seems to be a spoofed number...heres other numbers      215 371 3939   636 481 4994   470 296 6000   276 859 1009   205 533 8159   785 214 4381......these numbers seem to have called once a day for a few days then the next number kicks in...usually between 10-11 am or 8-9 pm pst...
