Chase was trying to protect you. Think about some of these others that did not call to verify. If they had the protection, they would have been covered. I don't understand why you fault the bank for attempting to protect you, they weren't forcing the protection on you.

Based on your email. you seem to be asinine.....If you have a husband or a wife, he or she should give you the boots...how can someone live with a retard like you..In times like now when someone text or email you how can you give out your pertinent information without making sure you check out the source.

Greg it's not related to Chase in any way, why the hell blame them? If the text was your Capital One card is suspended, would you then cancel with that institution?!

Tried calling the number back and it rang busy. I called Chase and they go yeah we get these calls all the time. That made me feel great and then they tried to sell me protection on my account for hackers. I will be taking my account to another bank real soon, than I will feel protected. Thanks Chase you made this easy for me to go elesewhere.

Same text msg, same thing, didn't call figured it was a scam.

I got the same message. Had a feeling it was a scam. I don't have a JP Morgan card, so how can it be suspended? that text came from notice3302@messaging.nextel.com with directions to call 5672630702 to reactivate. 3 days later another text came from alert4946@messageing.sprinpcs.com say the JP Morgan prepaid debit card (with same number and lots of X's behind it) has been frozen. Directions say to call 888-900-8455. Be warned, when you call an 800 #, they can see your phone number, even if you have it call-blocked to hide it.
Note: my cell numbers are on the do not call list - guess that's why they're texting, huh? (or am I giving them too much credit?)
Got to figure out how to report these ***holes! I hope they get nailed!
