I get the "emergency medical alert" call like twice a day.... calling phone number is 410-246-1677

Report this and make a formal complaint to Monica Brown with the Florida Dept of Agriculture (freshfromflorida.com) who are responsible for giving these jerks a license to do business,

got this call today- no one here would be an appropriate age for this- total SCAM
feel sorry for some one who might think a relative purchesed this for them

I get robo-calls from Senior Medical Advisory 3-4 times/day despite having my number on a Do Not Call list.
I want the phone number of the company president so I can call them every time I get a call!

It appears as these people have changed their name again.  They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions".  They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice".  They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert".  According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

I'm really tired of these calls and it appears the phone company won't do anything about it unless it's a threat.

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana.  Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company.  Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada.  If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.

The name of this company is Elite Information Solutions out of Casselberry, Florida, but the company is using a UPS store address in Orlando for their principal place of business.  Company owner is Michael Hilgar.  This company goes by several FAKE names.  Here are a few names that they are using:  Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

I am so sick of these b*****ds. I had stopped answering my phone when they call. When I don't answer, my modem goes offline and I have to restart it. I thought this was a coincidence until it happened 3 times in a row and ONLY when I get a call from this number. I have reported it to my ISP & the DNC for all the good it will do.

Scumbag scammers, trying to sucker old people.  We're on the do not call list.  They hung up when I politely asked what company they represented...

Never leaves a message, etc.    On the DNC registry, for all the good it does.  Have had issues with other numbers before also.  Filed complaints....never went anywhere.     Just wish it was on my cell phone so I could block them!    They need to come up with an "app" for land lines or something that you can block unwanted calls.     There are just tooooo many of these idiots out there!!!

Call from Senior Medical Advisory at 567-340-4519.  If you are on the DNC list, that should be your first warning.  Why are they calling you!  Next you can bet for some reason they need your credit card.  I told them this was for my M-I-L and I would call them back with her cr cd #--" the special offer was for now only".   I hate that these outfits prey on the elderly, who naturally are trying to save a buck.  NEVER give out your credit card # or ANY info on an incoming call, and do warn your elderly relatives and friends about these schemes.

Has anyone else noticed that when you charge a large amount on your credit card that the calls increase and when you pay off the balance the calls are much less frequent? Do you suppose they are somehow getting inside information from the card companies or is it just me? (I have received more than 250 calls from them so I started noticing a pattern since I pay my balance in full every month).

The calls are being made from outside the US however most of the call centers (where you actually talk to someone after pressing 1) are in the US and the companies making the money from the scam are owned by people in the US. They will charge thousands of dollars on your credit card without performing any services.

Many of these calls are coming from Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false) numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

The criminals behind this operation aren't going to pay attention to you asking to be removed from their list. Their calls cost them nothing and they can make a million of them a day so they have no intention of ever removing someone. When you press a key to talk to them all that is accomplished is to verify that they have a working number.
Unfortunately blowing an air horn or whistle doesn't work either. Their headset have noise dampeners plus they are expecting it. However with that said if it makes you feel better then by all means give it a shot.

For anyone thinking of using Special Information Tones (or as they're called in the industry SIT tones) to fake a non working phone number, they won't work. Since around 2001-2002, the costs of "digital" business lines have dropped dramatically, along with Voice over IP (Internet) telephone service. Neither of these use the SIT tones as the call information is carried separate from the audio.
This separate call information tells the calling party digitally if the call was answered, busy, voice mail, forwarded, rejected, etc. This renders SIT tones useless. Also the "TeleZapper" products that used to be on the market used this method as well, and were rendered ineffective for the same reasons.
It is also through this separate call information message that the spoofed caller ID information is transmitted.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for each violation.

Many of the disposable numbers come from Pacific Telecom Communications Group and they are currently under investigation and in the midst of various lawsuits. (The principles involved have been part of actions by the FCC under other business names).These businesses have ripped people off for millions of dollars, yet have paid only a couple of thousand dollars in fines. Write your Congressmen and Senators. We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in prison, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved. Since they are operating across borders it should become a federal felony and should be handled by the FBI under the RICO Act.

I don't know if it's been more than once, but I do know that even tho all our numbers are in the DNC we still get a lot of sales calls, mysterious calls with no one there, one where they always ask for Mindy (he admitted today thts just their way of getting to talk - they actually want to talk to the "homeowner"), calls from various named women saying "there's nothing wrong with my credit card acct, BUT...". and other assorted annoying calls.

bout once a week or sometimes more i get a call from 567-340-4519 and whats so strange about the whole thing ... not only did they call my house within 10 seconds one day they called my cell phone as well .... i dont know who they are or why they are calling my house but it needs to stop !!!
