this person who gives the name mike davis is very persistant and harrassess me and my coworkers. if he does not stop i will loose my job. I believe it is a scam trying to get information about me and my identity has been stolen. i need it to stop. please help

I just got a call this morning from "unknown" and was left a very nasty message about a debt or something could barely understand them (india sounding accent) I have saved the recording of the message.  They threatened my job and sending me to court abou this.   I have no idea why or what this could be.  Should I call to get more info and who should I report them too?   they left a 570-243-9034 number to call them back. The name I got from the message was Ronnie Wilson.

I just called 5702439034, and spoke with "Robert Jacobs". This is who I was told was the company's attorney. I advised him that I googled the phone numbers I was given, and advised that I understand their little scammed they are doing. I did not tell him ANY info as to whom I was when I called...everyone has caller ID so I know my number showed up. I told him that it would be in his "company's" best interest to never call me again, delete my number, and AL the information they have on me. He kept aologizing over and over (probably not sincere), and told me he would make sure to delete my info, and noone will contact me again.

We will see what happens now.....

I just hung up the phone with the same situation. He told me that I had money depsotited into my account, which I did not, and that I commited fraud or something like that. I had a real hard time understanding him. The first call I was hung up on because I was "reflecting attitude". He wanted me to verify all of my personal information, but I refused. He also told me that a warrant has been issued for my arrest as well as my boss. He asked me if I wanted to settle in court or out of.  told him in cout because this is obviously a scam, and asked him who my Attorney would need to contact. He stuttered, and said they can only contact him. The name he gave me was Jeremy (He was an Indian man) 5702313157. After sevral attempts to obtain his Attorney's info he gave me the name Robert Jacobs as his Attorney 5702439034.

Does anyone know what this is??

Starting today i been receiving call from #5702313157. It has been a indian man who left a message on my cell phone and my job number.  He had also called my manager stating that if i do not call them back that the going to have the authorities come and arrest me and her.  I believe these are the same people who tried to swindle money and threaten me and my job about me owing money.  I just wish the FBI or somebody catch these people and put end of there fraud.

This number has been calling me non stop my cell phone and my work phone. a mr. robert jacobs and kelvin walker. what can i do to make them stop caling me. i have no clue what they want and they keep saying they will come to my job with the cops and the fbi to arrest me.

What they're doing is breaking federal law. To know your consumer rights, go to www.ftc.gov and they'll tell you how to handle these thieves. They've called me and my husband trying to say I took out a payday loan last fall and we'll go to jail if we don't pay it back. That's illegal; you can't go to jail for not paying a debt. Second, it's illegal to give a military personnel or family a payday loan. Third, according to federal law they are required to send this "debt" in writing. The cops told me to get as much info from them as you can without disclosing anything about yourself. Then document the calls and report to FTC.

Yes same thing has happened to me. I told him I was recording him. He could not tell me what day and type of loan and said he could not verify

I am going through the same exact thing. These people pretended to be from my loan company and took over 1500.00 from me! They had all my info right down to my social security number. They continue to call me at home,work, and cell. I have gone to the police about it but they are unable to trace them because the numbers are fakes. They even at one point tried to tell me they were with the FBI and were at my local police station. They were able to make it so the number came up local. I was told to either try and ignore the calls or get all new numbers. I ended up having to change my cell and I am needing to do my house phone too. They will say they are with collections,cops,fbi, and the latest they tried to tell me was a law firm. Do NOT give them any info!

My daughter received a call on her cell phone from this number saying she owed them money because they put money in her bank account.  They wouldn't identify themselves and she has no idea what they are talking about.  I also think this is a scam trying to get her to give up money to these theives.  I wish a law enforcement agency could identify these people and put them in jail.

I was contacted by this number stating i would go to jail if i didnt pay 800 to them. i believe this to be a scam. I was also contacted bu a 213 and 214 area code numbers. Has someone had the same thing happen to them?
