I got the email offering a loan from 50,000 to 50,000,000.00. That correct 50 million dollars Damm there good. Ask for every thing but SSN and loan would be approved in 24 hour. He kept calling and sending email till I talk to him. It's very urgent I finish the loan application. Now understand he was going to wire my loan Bank to Bank or Western Union it to me. Well excuse me to Western Union that much money would be unreal. So I sent him email tell him I work with our federal government and now working with law enforement from India. Thank him for his email address and phone number and ask him to look over his shoulder.  He didn't like that one bit. But it's funny now his number has been change or disconnected for some reason. Please people if its to good to be tire I promise it's some kind of BS Scam. Or Govement need to stop all wire Transfere to and from these country unless bans know there leagal. There no tellin how many people have lost fortunes to these a** hole. But if one contacts you please let him know your working with the federal government and I promise they will start backin off. There like c*** Roach when the light comes on they scatter. The best way to stop them is screw with them and find out what county there from google what the law enforcement is called and let them know your in touch with them. They most of the time S*** in there pants and run and take your name off there list and go somewhere else. Good luck

The telephone # they are now using for "Dawson & Associates" is 484-429-6630.  They are switching out telephone #s.  This is a VOIP line.  They claim to be associated with LPS Group, an "Accounting Department" who claims to be a debt buyer, but all links to them seem to be a sham, too.  First I got a call from "Legal Delivery Service" that does not exist.  None of these companies are truly traceable.  They said a wage garnishment was being issued, but there is no record in the court for the county I live in.

I received a phone call from this number saying that the IRS owed me money from my 2009-10 taxes.They said I needed to pay 184 dollars to have the money released.The name was dave and had an middle eastern accent.Beware of this scam!

Same people called me cussed them out like everyobe else asked cld he speak english he then laughed qt me and asked do i need him to speak in spanish i then told him to stop playing on my phone ...hungup...he calls bk a month later saying that i wld go to jail if my atterny didnt cll im like watever...the called again another month later asking for me and i told then i got this number yesterday and they hungup....lol ive been dealin with these non english speaking indian turban as holes f or about4month ...they are low lifes and they needta b arrested for acting like the i.r.s. thats against the dam law....they r pretending to b all types of ppl ...im going to wish them luck as the s*** unfolds on them lol after i report them....

I never answer a number I don't know but when I listened to the voice mail it was an automated message saying they were they IRS and they owed me over $2,000. I googled the phone number and found this website. I kinda figured it was a scam!

The man said his name is Jeeves Andersen and he's from the IRS and he's stating that there has been an audit and that the last few years I have made mistakes on my tax filings for 2004-2007, but that I have to pay $584 first. They repeated ALL of my information to me, however when they got to my bank information, I halted right away. I googled their number and lo and behold, they truly are a scam. I am going to call the IRS right now and report them. Thank God for sites like this!!

I recieved several calls from this number stating that the IRS owes me $2143.00 also received calls from this number stating that they needed to speak with me  and if I didn't call them back that I would be in major trouble with the law.   I new this was a scam and i did not respond.  They have very thick india accents and you can barely understand their threating messages.

husband got a call from this # 570-241-9648. he said he is with the feds. irs audit verificaion certificate branch. lol. if we pay them $184.00 we would get $2173.00 refund thats due us. which is funny cause we r working with the irs to pay our back taxes. thanks to all who have posted about this fraud. please beware any odd numbers. the gov. uses 800/866/888 numbers as far as ive seen. always remember if its to good to b true then its to good to b true

This number and another 646 527 8434 has been calling my cell and my mom's cell asking for Ssn numbers and all kinds of law suit bs. I'm not gonna lie I wasn't nice when I called them back yelling at them. I called them pretty much any kind of middle eastern racial name you could think of after they told me to go f--k myself. The 646 number is claiming they are Attorney Frank Miller, I looked up Mr. Miller online and made contact with him and told him what was happening. Yes Mr. Miller isin fact an attorney, and he is going to assist me with the issues with the 646 number. This other a** clown says his name is Jacob Veasman calling from Dawson Law Firm. Well he also got a piece of my mind.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Just got a phone call at my place of employment from a man with a thick accent telling me that if I do not pay this amount I will have to go to court, one I do not remember getting a cash advance from this company

Just got a call from this number on my office phone.  Said his name is sam johnson from the dawson law firm (haha) and my attorney needed to contact them blah blah blah.  I have received calls like this before and it is a scam.  Low life idiots trying to scare honest hard working folks into giving up their money to a bunch of deadbeats that have nothing to do but sit on their tushes stealing money or trying to.  Hopefully, no one will fall victim to their tactics.  They make me sick.

I keep getting calls from this phone number and they are always the same voice just they always use a different name. I told them that I was going through bankruptcy and that they need to contact my lawyer and they hung up on me. They called back after that, this time they said that if I dont pay them that I will loose my job and go to jail. They are a bunch of theives and frauds. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!

I keep getting phone calls from this number. They leave a voicemail and insist that I call back.  I called back and they told me that I owed money to the IRS. They asked for my social security number, my date of birth, my first and last name (which they never got right), along with my bank account number. I did not give them the info that they wanted. They threatened me and said I was to pay them $184 within three hours otherwise they would take $780 from my wages. I hung up on them and they called back asking for the money. I said I wasn't going to give it to them until I had official information in writing. I called the number looking for names or an organization--they are deliberately hard to understand.

Just received the same call from the same men using the same law firm! Earlier the number tht called me was from a 916 area code! WTF

Caller would call and asked for someone that is not me.  Then when I called back and told them not to call back here again.  The guys said don't threaten him. Well look. That is not a threat.  Looks like the number is in PA.  So next time I get a call from this number I am just calling the local PD in PA county and inform of the call.  The PD here said they can't do anything.  So maybe a call from a PD in his state will get him to stop calling.

Have recieve so many calls from this # telling me I have an law suit on me. Then later that day another call saying I owe back pay on child support wowwww really funny I don't have any kids.. Have received quite a few calls from about 3 different named gentlemen with a thick accent. They said the same thing that Shawna said about if they don't hear from me or my attorney they wish me luck as this unfolds. I ain't sweating these people but they need to quit calling my job!

I keep getting phone numbers from this number about a lawsuit set against me agent name Mike Watson with a thick middle eastern accent but after reading everybodys posts i think i will ignore these calls. Thank you for posting your complaints.

Just got a voicemail from a thickly accented gentlemen.  Said he was calling from the IRS with a refund for me.  Ha!  I am an accountant.  The IRS does not call you about a refund.  Scam!

They called me also and left a message about the IRS owing me $2,143.  I called them back before I got ther message (saw they had called on my caller id).  When they said they were from the IRS I told them "no you aren't), hung up and added them to my blocked number list.  This is the 4th time someone has tried to pull this crap on me.  I am getting really tired of it!
