did not leave a message

This is apparently the second time this company has called me, the first being from another number 1-727-771-2851 and caller id says Aa. Erica.  The first time they left a scare message on the phone about a problem with my gas or electric bill.  This time, I answered and it was some guy on a cell phone who sounded like he had one of those things that people without larynx's can speak with.  He wanted to save me money on my electric bill, which is a government run scam to begin with.  I told him I wasn't interested and to put me on their do not call list, which I am sure will do nothing.  The local paper had an article several weeks ago about this scam company and their lies.  Am also going to write some letters to the PUC, the Attorney General, and tell my legislatures what I think of their program.  By the way, this number came in as 0115703016301, but 800 notes won't allow more than 10 numbers.

`I CALLED THE PHONE COMPANY ABOUT THIS AND THEY SAY THEY CAN'T TELL ME WHO IS CALLING(AGAINST TO LAW)!! THEY ALSO NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. WONDER WHY SOMETHING CAN'T BE DONE ABOUT THIS,SEEMS LIKE LOTS ARE BOTHERED BY THIS PROBLEM.

It's getting really annoying.

They call once every three weeks or a month or so, never leave a message. Caller ID is UNKNOWN. Why do stupid people waste their time on making these calls? Pests. and low-lifes, we are on DO NOT Call for US and Pennsylvania lists. If somebody calls me when I am on those lists, to drum up business, then I know they are not legitimate, or they would not be calling me in the first place. So, if I want to find an electrical provider, I will go looking in the appropriate place for one, and not engage with this sort of scammer.

Is that so? Well, think about it. Before there was a "choice" program we had good reliable service from our local utility, and never once received any  of these proliferating pest calls from hordes of wannabee electrical suppliers.  Yes, all the Congresscritters on both sides of the aisle *are* members of The Best Congress Money Can Buy, but go study the history of this "deregulation" mania, and figure out who benefits.

This person called claiming to save me 10% on my PPL bill and wanted my account number. I do not get calls from PPL. The lady was chomping in my ear also which I then just hung up and she tried calling back.

This number calls our landline at least twice a day and never leaves a message. When we answer the phone, they don't even say anything. How can we make them stop!

Weirdos. They call every month or so, and never leave a message. What is the point? If this is a compnay pushing deregulated electricy , then why are they calling someone on the Do Not Call lists, both Federal and State? It seems to me that telemarketing is exactly what they are doing. If someone would violate the rules that way, then they do not have any ethics, and so -- who the heck would want to do business with them?

Wow!! What a bunch of wrong info you are getting from your liberal friends. The choice program is fine and scammers do not care about republican or democrap programs they just scam using any opportunity they can find.

How to make them stop?

Received a call tonight from this number. Told the woman three times nicely I was not interested she replied very rudely "you're not interested in what" I said "what you're selling". She was so ignorant, I asked for a manager and she hung up on me. Called back and spoke to a manager who claimed she would take care of it.

Ahhh... you may wish to keep your Politics out of this, as it was allowed to happen by both Parties in the State of Pa. I should know, I was one of the those leading the fight against allowing the agreement to lapse.

This number calls my house starting at 8 am until 9 pm, usually 6 calls thru out the day. I work out of my house so this is annoying and it needs to stop!

I continue to get calls from this number, I called it back and spoke to a lady named Kadedra, she said they are an electric company and wanted to speak to who ever pays the electric bill in regards to changing our electric service and savings. I told them we are not interested and to take my number out of their files. They call continuously and it is frustrating to say the least, but never leave a message. If they were legit, they should know who they are calling and at least leave call back info. This needs to stop!

Called to offer electrical company options. They'd called my cell phone numerous times and never left a message. I called the number and talked to someone who said they would remove my cell number from their list. Fortunately they know not to call the home phone because our area(Lehighton,pa) is not a deregulated area. We HAVE to buy from Lehighton electric!

I keep getting phones from this number .I don't pick up call I don't know

This is weird  -- some of you report numerous calls a day, and we have only had three calls, since Dec. 29, then on Jan. 25, and then today, on this number, no messages left. I am not complaining that I want four calls a day from a scamming pest, but this electric "deregulation" scam that the Republicans are so hot to foist on us is a real pain. Apparently, the Pennsylvania state commission in charge of regulating electrical providers has passed some sort of rule that PPL must stop letting us keep on getting our electric power from them, by making them raise their rate formula, so that everybody will get into the fake phony "choice" program. Hence, all these calls again, from the the "electricity suppliers," most of whom must be scammers, or they would not be calling households whose phones are on the Do Not Call list.

This guy calls my phone 4 times a day never leaves a message. I picked up and he is asking about a PPL information. Net time he calls he's gonna get flipped out on.

Just got a call from this number today asking if the person who has PPL can be put on the line.  A woman can be heard in the background.  I said my wife does it and she isnt available. He calle my cell at work.  Then he hung up on me.

Same thing, some guy called my cell phone, wanted to know if he could speak to the person in the home that deals with Penelec. I asked the guy why he called this cell phone, he said 'sorry, I must have called the wrong number'. I hung up before anything else was said. I could hear a woman talking in the background.

I just got this cell phone from tracphone and I have been getting calls from these kind of people. SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

I answerd because I was expecting a call from my child's Drs office. Same area code. The man wanted to speak to "who ever is in charge of paying the electric bill" That's not the way you aske to speak to a person. Sorry. Then he hung up on me,,

I just recieved a call from this number on my cell. He asked me if i had ppl electric and i said i dont live here. Then he paused and hung up

I answered the first time and the guy was trying to getter PPL information from me.  I have never been called by any provider before and he calls twice a day.  No message.
