My phone would only ring once, and when I called back, a woman asked if I was over 28.

Caller annoyed me three times last night and only stopped when I told her I would pray that she got vaginal cancer if she called me again. I politely requested to be removed the many times before and so I figured I was free to be a jerk too.

I now realize what this is. I took a tour with these people last year and it was actually pretty cool.  I received a package to go to Orlando which I'm supposed to go in November. I got 2 round trip airline tickets and my hotel paid and all I had to pay was the sales tax.

Oh also another thing, when you stay at hotels or use services like priceline, cheap tickets, or even budget car rental, truck rental or any thing to do with travel, even the little slips they give you at hotels to be notified of discounts and so on you're providing your information to these  people. I've called the pentagon telemarketing for them, attorneys on the job, peoples cellphones, any number you place they'll call.

They have been calling an unused phone in my office for a while according to the log.  Unfortunatly that is a long distance call for me.  Otherwise, what I like to do is call the number (usually have to redial to get it between calls.  When you get through you can hear the dialer machine dial numbers.  I simply leave the phone off the hook knowing that I am blocking people from being botherd by them gives me pleasure.  I have picked it up maybe an hour later and could still hear that their dialer was dialing into my connection.  They must have several lines to not notice.  Just think, if more people local to them did it they would not bother any one and might give up.

I worked for integrity marketing between jobs for about 2 weeks (in college and have a 3 yr old forgive me had no choice), they call 2 main places for wyndham resorts and this other resort i can't  recall the name of wyndham  is for va/dc area the numbers are selected randomly by computer the callers have no knowledge of who they're calling until it comes up on the screen. They basically offer you airline tickets for visiting a timeshare, they like to pretend you won't get the extra gifts unless you're holding out..but everyone gets the plane tickets and hotel stay possibly a gift card if they're really persistent with the no's..um..for going to see a timeshare where you will be pressured to buy you get the tickets. If you're a stubborn person or someone with no problem saying no it's a decent chance to get free tickets..oops they dun let you say free...complimentary....also the catch to the tickets is you pay your own hotel accommodations discounted....the catch to the hotel is you pay your own airfare...I hated working there I have always hated telemarketers I don't blame the ppl who hung up..half the time i laughed because  plenty of the remarks i'd gotten would've come out of my own mouth integrity is located in Hazleton Pa so i'd suggest locate the address and and number then call directly to tell them to take you off their list, you have to specify don't say things like don't  call back anymore or anything else indirect...take me off the DO NOT CALL LIST is what you need to say or they'll keep calling.

Hilton Hotel Scam, 2 nights for $99

I to received a call very familiar with your explanation.  3 day 2 night stay to the Las Vegas, Hawaii or Orlando Hilton for $99.  The only thing in return was that you took a tour of the hotel while staying there.  They also offered up $50 in casino chips as well.  I also asked them how they obtained my number and they stated I stayed at the Doubletree Inn in 2007 which I do not recall.  I questioned the location and they stated they were unable to provide that information due to privacy.  They actually already had my address on file but it was a previous address fortunately then they proceeded to want my credit card information to bill for the $99 2 night stay.  This is where I became very skeptical and said i was unwilling to give my credit card information over the phone and that I would be willing to go to a secure booking site such as Hilton's ro that I would pay upon arrival of the hotel.  They persisted that it was not a scam, had many arguments to the contrary on hand and I proceeded to hang up on them.  To their merit, it was a very professional sounding operation and I could see how they could fool people.  The # that called me was 702-616-7396 which is a Las Vegas area code.

I received a call from this number offering a 2 night stay in a "new Hilton Hotel" as well as several gift certificates, if I took a  tour.  I initially agreed and was asked for my name.  When I asked how they got my number, they stated I had used one of their associated businesses (Days Inn, Jackson Hewitt, Hilton, Wyndham, etc.).  I gave them my name and then I was asked for my address, which is when I became skeptical.  Shouldn't they have my address if I used their services?  When I paused to ask my wife what she thought, the caller hung up on me.
