This collection agency now goes by a new name Sabatini Law firm! It seems they are running a new scam pretending to help with calls but in reality they give your telephone numbers to the collection agencies they claim to protect you from!
After calling them it seems that all the collection agencies started to contact me even more!
They are a scam don't fall for this scam!

It is a law firm that deals with Capital One. If you have ever had a capital one credit card and have been delinquent on paying your bill they hire these people to handle it and they will also put a judgement against. I had this happen to be several years ago I think it has been since 2009 and they still call to this vary day!!!

So what if you don't owe a debt and don't even know these people, will they still be able to attach whoever owns the phones bank account? They call everyday at least 2x and has been for over a year now with no message on voice mail. I owe and own nothing, not even a car. All I do have is my bank acct. I wouldn't even be able to hire a lawyer if they stole my $ from bank. I do not have long distance service on my phone cause I can't afford it since I live on a widows pay and conserve everything to make it through each month. I have reported to FCC and still they call. Now after reading all these posts and about taking money from someones bank has terrified me. I owe nobody for nothing.

What I get a kick out of......I get calls on my cell from this unprofessional, scumbag company and ask for
different people. Where do they get their info?? They should be accurate if they are attempting to collect a debt. Would they not have received info from say.......Macy's..and have the accurate info at hand???
Scumbags is what I call these trolls.
I add them to my contacts as "SCAMMER" and I know when call comes in again ..clearly not to answer.
I hit the ignore button.
If I am at home...I answer and just blast the TV in their ears. That usually stops them.
But....I dont owe money !!! I pay my bills..... two times they called MY same cell #
and yet left different names on the voicemail of who they are calling.
The company is a THUG company. Probably Mafia connected.
I just ignore...but it can be annoying .
I feel bad for the person who is so desperate to have to work a job as such.

My husband actually did settle an account with them. Two out of the three credit bureaus did remove the original debt from his credit report. TransUnion did not and we were advised to contact them to see if they could send something to TransUnion....hahaha good luck to us. I tried to email them and of course it came back with a failure to deliver notice. After reading all of this, I don't even want my husband to have to call them. Our correspondence was all with a Jack Jordan. Ugh I am irritated.

Get calls from them all the time. Abraham and A**. They put me in collections and put a judgement on me 6 months ago. Screwed my credit without trying to work with me. Now I ignore their calls and they will only lose money on all their mailers and phone calls.
| Nice Debt Collector 2012-10-05 16:50:41 Unknown |
Sometimes when you get a new phone number, not only do you have a new number, you also have a debtor that came with that number. It is very unfortunate when this happens and until it can be verified that indeed it is the wrong number, you will still get calls. Then when there is no resolution for the account, it either gets placed with another agency or the debt is sold and the whole cycle will start over again because in skip tracing that number will come up in that debtors history and it is policy for most agencies to call all the numbers associated with that debtor.
I always feel bad for the people that say they get a million calls because a debtor used to have this number.

I have to tell a hysterical story. I had a court date in Magistrate Court yesterday for a complaint filed by Capital One c/o Abrahamsen & Associates. The last time this happend no attorney showed up and I won a default judgement which was appealed to Court of Common Pleas where we are still batteling it out but I feel confident I will prevail there also.
This time a "local counsel" representing Capital One (actually Abrahamsen but they think we are all stupid) showed up in a beat-up Pontiac and a stained suit he looked like he slept in, with his beagle dog in the car! Took the dog for a walk and had him pee in the flower bed of the Magistrates office while the entire office was watching him out the window and then went into the hearing. Tried to intimidate me prior to the hearing however the Judge walked in and promptly started the hearing. (it gets better!)
The "attorney" presented his case. Had NO contract, could not tell the Judge when the last activity on the account was. Was missing document details because "his printer wasn't working and he was very busy that day".
Asked to call me (defendant) to the stand which the Judge promply denied and said "I've heard of this tactic before and I will not allow it." The Judge continually looked at me shaking his head and just smiled. The Judge asked if there is anything I had to say and I replied "with what was presented, do I really have too?" He laughed and promptly sided in my favor! It was OBVIOUS they were counting on a default judgement. I know it is not over and I will continue to keep costing them money in court fee's not to mention the documented cases of direct violations to the FDCPA that I plan to file when this is all done.
My advice to anyone sued by Abrahamsen & Associates, FIGHT! I did research on them and they make a fortune on default judgements. When people fight them, Abrahamsen's win rate is well below 10%. In fact, many times when they loose, they are chastised by the Judge for their unprofessional manner and incompleteness of their complaints. Use Prothonotary Scraper.com and look up all the cases for them. It makes for very entertaining reading!

I have received numerous calls from these ignorant people. I have called and told them I am not the person they are looking for, that they are harrassing me. They say they wont call back and will remove me. Guess what they are still calling.

This is Abrams and Associates, a low level collection agency law firm. So funny, I was going to pay off a few hundred bucks but they decided to put a lien since I didn't show at court. Now they call and send letters to me. I sometimes prank call them just to mess with them or I will ask to pay off the account and the person gets so excited, I then pretend to get dissconnected. They call back and I act like I don't know who they are. Always gives me a good laugh.

If you live in Pennsylvania, sign up for the Do Not Call list with the Attorney General http://www.attorneygeneral.gov. Then register a complaint on their hotline or website once your waiting period is over. They seem to prosecute more aggressively than the Federals.
| Prime1 2012-07-07 17:55:51 Unknown |
You need a court order to do that and they can't do that without a ruling to DO so. And if that DID happen, you appeal that and then sue them. I work for an attorney in PA.

I get these calls all of the time and they are not even for me!!!! They are for a family member that does not even live in my home. I tried to email them, but it bounced back. I really don't feel like calling because it most likely will do no good.

Your absolutely incorrect in that info if......there is a judgement involved. They can also take you to small claims court and that involves the District Court systems....It"s never ending.

I get calls periodically from this number and it's a recording saying "this is a message for 'so & so' if you are not 'so & so' then please hang up. This is a collection agency on a personal matter."
Okay, so I hang up. A week or so later - ANOTHER call, same message! I am not the person they are calling - I hang up. What more can I do?

They are trying to reach my brother-in-law, who moved out 10 years ago, with divorce and bankruptcy soon afterwards. I thought I had all creditor calls stopped about 4 years back, but they started again last week. This firm's robo-calls are more ominous: "This is a message for ____ _____. If you are not ____ _____ please hang up or disconnect. If you are ____ _____ ..." (voicemail ends there). No "opt-out" option, and their caller ID info is

I left them a bad review on Merchant Circle. Hope they get lots of negative feedback on all commerce sites.

May 9, 2012 they are still at it with me too! Thanks to Caller ID on my cell, I don't answer any call I don't recognize. Thanks to Google I am here. I want to know why they annoy me. I have impeccable credit and pays bill in full on time my whole life. This has happened (about once a month) before but they aren't looking for me but someone else. I tell them in no uncertain terms, I don't know this person, I am not this person, don't call here again. They must not believe me. Eh! I forwarded a complaint to the PA Attorney General's Office today!

I was served papers from a constable. it said I need to appear in court within a few weeks. I called him back and let them take out a lump sum for the next x amount of months. the amount that they will only accept is extremely high perr month I'm afraid I cannot afford it every single month for the next x amount of months. so basically I agreed to pay this amount every month. is there anyway I can stop this and go to court. by going to court they told me
that they could potentially a take away my belongings. they have to have to get fatter supposally in my name. and today I noticed an extra charge that I did not agree to.
is it worth going to court from anybody's experience
