the scam is that they didn't call you as evidenced by an incomplete call; you called them!
don't even bother being taken off the list.
got to file a complaint ....

Spammers. I called back and it was an automated message saying "Congratulations you have been selected in a million dollar sweepstakes"...blah blah blah..
I did a mistake of giving out my number in one of the sweepstakes at a hot air balloon festival. Since then I have been getting these calls from different cities.
