Scam Company trying to pose as some form of Yellow Pages.  They start out saying they are updating your yellow pages, and soon enough you agree to have your listing sent to you for "free"but, then they all of a sudden demand payment for this free listing, even if you repeatedly say that you will not pay for anything and are not interested.  Eventually, just hung up on them.  They still harassingly call demanding payment for a supposed service we 1)Denied 2) Declined 3)Rejected 4)Hung Up On 5) Never Wanted!

I had same story as above logger (updating business listing). The man didn't speak English very well and wouldn't reveal where he was calling from or what the supposed business was that was associated with my phone number. They have repeatedly called. When I don't answer, they don't leave a message. Shows up as "Unknown" on my caller ID system.

I attempted to call the number back only to get a recording, "Number invalid" or something like that.

same thing here.  we have told them to put on their do not call list, but they continue calling.  it goes over to my answering service at which i am charged one dollar per hour for them to talk to these idiots.

Same thing! Middle Eastern accent... and quite rude! I hung up on him and he called me back and called me a Jack@ss! He's calling a place of business and the phone must be answered. Its incredibly frustrating when I try to call the # back to talk to someone about removing our name and #, it says number to check the # and try again!!!

These folks, or some just like them, have been around a while.  We started getting bills from them and had a hard time getting them to stop, but they keep calling!  Very annoying and frustrating.  I assume they must be inside the law or outside the law's reach or they would have been stopped.  When I become Benevolent Dictator of the Universe, they'll sing a different song.

20 Calls came in on December 17, 2008, man with middle east accent said he was calling to update yellow page business information. We are not a service company and do not advertise and we have been in the same business, same location, everything for 70 years, there should be no legit reason to update info.
Told individual - No Thank You.  He kept calling back. After awhile the minute the phone was answered he would say "You are a f__K____ B___th".
It did not matter who answered our phone, he said the same thing. It was
unbelievable. I hope it is over and wish this individual could have charges filed against him.

I just got this phone call also, they have tried to call several times. Please tell your friends and family not to answer or talk to this guy.

I just got a call from 570-717-6590. It was a man with an accent saying he was calling on behalf of the Church of Christ in my town. Wanting a donation...

a man witha middle eastern accent called and said he was update our business in the yellow pages.  Asked me to give my name, I did, and asked me for my birth date.  I told him I wasn't comfortable doing that and he said I could make up one.. I told him the conversation was over and he hung up quickly.

Received a call saying he was updating the Yellow Pages & asked for too much information. Then wanted to transfer me to "Quality Control" so I hung up. He called me back!! and asked why I hung up. I told him he's calling a place of business and I don't have any more time for him so he called me a JACKA#S. Nice.

Have received several hang ups from this number. I finally answered this evening and it was someone who didn't speak English well saying 'I want to update your business listing.' I don't have a business and this is the 2nd time I've told them that. I asked what business was this number listed as and he hung up. I'm very frustrated about the hangups and constant harrassment from this number.

I got the same call 15 minutes ago.  Called number back.  The recording said it was an invalid number.

Rec'd some junk ph call from 570-717-6590, did not answer. No msg left by the inconsiderate dope.

Reverse Lookup provided nothing, other than call came from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Inconsiderate dopes call long distance, refuse to leave a message. This is why we never answer long distance, unless we recognize the number.
