This number called and said I owed $500 for a class I never took from ashworth college and they said that if I called ashworth that they would refer me back to the collection agency. I always pay my bills on time and have nothing in collections and work hard to have good credit. I called ashworth college and talked with billing services and when I paid my cancellation fee for my class I didn't cancel in time it was for $200. I paid all but $50 in error. I was so embarrassed to have not paid the $50 that I paid it over the phone and ashworth shows my acct paid in full nothing owed. I would call whatever company this collection place says you owe and confirm it all before you pay them anything.

The company calling is most likely never going to see your post here that they have a wong number.  Your best bet would be to tell them that when they call.
