This # calls my cell everyday.  I think its a telemarket & they probably get some kind of credit for just calling a # whether thay speak to someone or not.

I only have this phone number a few months.  Most of the calls are survey, wrong numbers, and like that.  I did get one call from newsday and declined to buy a subscription.  Since then, about three - five times a week I have been getting these hang-up calls, so today I did *69 to get the last number that called me and it this 570 #.  Makes no sense since all they ever do is hang up.  Why bother to even call if it is telemarketing and not say anything?  I think it is the way these weird types get back at you for not buying or cancelling a subscription.  Anyone know anything about call bloking?  It might be worth a try.

This is a scam.  I have reported it to the do not call registry.

i called and received a recording to leave a message for Metro News. The mail box was full so I couldn't tell them to stop calling.

It did the same to me. Metro news. No message left and calls my cell repeatedly.

I started getting these calls after I cancelled my newsday subscription, (communist rag). No message, only hang-ups, even when I picked up on the first ring. Usually can't leave a message. They called me six times in one day. I called my T-mobile service center, but they wouldn't provide me with an address for these B*****DS. Their automated voicemail response identifies them as "metro news". If anyone can get me an address, I'd greatly appreciate it!

It's Newsday - I picked up once and told them I'm not interested and they keep calling. Actually, they SAID they were Newsday but the guy sounded like it was a scam. They didn't call for 2 days and are now back to calling 3-6x/day.

calls multiple times a day, no messages. picked up the last time and it sounded like someone put the phone down and forgot to hang up. it's a call center based in PA for Newsday solicitation. spam

call me 2-3 times a day.  same thing, they never leave a msg and when i pick up the line goes dead.

They call me 4 times a day from 8:30 am till 8:45 pm.  I don't answer and they don't leave any message.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I just cancelled Newsday last week and the calls started. I've ignored all their calls and looking at the threads I believe it is them.

yea, i actually picked up this call.  it was news day asking me to subscribe to their newspaper.  so annoying.

When I tried to call it back it went to a recording that says "metro news is not available."  I believe its a Newsday sales call.
