I just got the same text you mentioned "You have just one a $1000 Walmart Gift Card! To claim go to http://dealdaily.ws/wm and enter WINN" and I have the same reaction as SteelerFanAZ - I don't text, I hardly ever use my cell phone and I don't enter contests. I only get a certain number of texts per month before I get charged for them so I would request 571-218-5355 never contact me again

Seems strange that a web site registered in Samoa (hands up if you know where that is) would be involved with what you describe.

Received a text from this number, "You just won a $1000 Walmart Gift Card. To claim go to http://dealdaily.ws/wm and enter (the code word)".
Very exciting (!!) ... except that I have never given out my cell phone number for any contest or opinion poll which might award a gift card.
I didn't bother to go to the website they provided ... I'm sure it's a bogus site with either a virus or a phishing atempt.
