Yeah I just got the $1,000 Walmart Card gimmick. So intend on contacting Walmart and demand they send me my $1,000 card as per message. Gotta pit these scammers against each other!

To start with area 571 is not in Virginia their area code is 703 ( my brother lived there from 1966 to
2006 so I should know.
They called yesterday as a credit deduction company, I told them I am on the do not call list
they had no ideal what the do not call list is.... Now that is stupid

Of course, it's a data harvesting scam. Their privacy policy states that they reserve the right to sell your information to their "clients" as per your consent of giving them your information (to claim your prize)

Their site was working this morning (promodaygiveaway.com/walmart) but has now disappeared. Apparently they come from a similar company offering free iPhones and stuff.

On another note: can you actually get a $1000 Walmart gift card? Don't they have some sort of amount cap on those things?

I got a text message saying I'd won a new iphone 4s.  Who is this?

this person called my phone and told me i won a new i phone 4s i knew it was a joke nothing is free.
