Very hostile individual.  Please how do I stop this.

This place continues to call me, never leaves a message. I finally just had my phone number changed.

I don't think it is going to be that easy. The only way you can stop these calls is to change your number. I know that it is frustrating, but these are idiots that you are dealing with. They have absolutely no common sense- lets not say anything about proffessionalism. My advice...Change you phone number. It's quicker, easier and less of a big deal. Much better than expecting any idoit from their company to respect the law.
I would definately do it to them and see what they do. You know they give their first and last name when you call. Google them... I am sure they have an individual facebook account with loads of personal info. Maybe even the whitepages.com will give you their personal phone number. DO IT TO THEM !!!! Maybe they will learn a thing or two. Infact, I am doing this myself. Got to go now- lot's of goggling to do. :)Reply !

You should just call them back and do the same to them.

When I called this number back it connected to RPM, a collection agency.

I recently got a new phone number, and these RPM people have called many times. I called back and was hung up on.
Will register my new number with NDNCR.

Annoying calls from this number at all hours of day and night.

I received 2 calls from them so far. Asking for my husband, whose name is not associated with this phone account. They simply asked me to verify the numbers that they dialed, and I did.
Very pleasant.
We'll see if I get anymore.

Today they claimed to be with T-Mobile and told me I had a credit balance and they would like some information so that they can credit my bank account.  I immediately told them I believe this to be an illegal call because I never had a T-Mobile account and hung up.  Be aware that if you give them your bank info so that they can "credit" your account that they can take money away just as easily.

harassing calls. need to stop

it has been 2 months now of 1-2x/day calls from this number, usually early in the AM. i dont have the patience to listen to the recording, i havent answered it for a while. i cant stand this kind of stuff...

this is very annoying they called with # 800-507-4275 and asked for a guy i told them there is no one by the name lived here and they called back a few minutes with # 571-261-0020 and asked for the same person. I hanged up the phone and called back a guy asnwered i told him to take my number off his list.

I keep getting calls several times a day and will use the advise to send them a letter to stop it. Glad this info is out there.

I called them back.  While they wouldn't tell me who they were, they were looking for someone not living here.  They are a collection agency.  Obviously that individual gave them my number as I've had this phone number for six years.  I won't be getting calls from them any more.

This call was made at 8:30PM I was not home but I recognize the number because I spoke with them before and told them to stop calling. They are a collection agency handling several accounts for several clients.  As a Collection agency they are protected from the Do Not Call List just like a Non-Profit Org. Or a Party Affiliated business. Hang up on them is all you can do. Receivable Performance Management, AKA-RPM . The person they are looking for no longer has this number but even if you tell them to take it off they will not. Hang up is the solution .

They also call from 240-210-7114   Just FYI, same company. I would not answer again after the 1st time I spoke to someone.  So guess now they are calling from another phone #. They said I owe an AT&T cell phone bill. I've never had AT&T.

This is a spam number

This is a serious scam These people have been calling me about some fictitious debt I have to Sprint. I requested a copy of the charges they were talking about and they became very angry. They were willing to "settle" with me right then and there...all I had to do was give them my checking info. Now they are calling with a new twist...they claim they are an agent of my health insurance company and need verification of personal information!!! These peopleshould be prosecuted. Do not give them anything. Play with them if you like, but do not give any personal info out.

I just got a call from this number at 10pm, what legit business calls at 10pm? Judging by what I have found at this site and others, this "RPM" company, if that's their real name, seems to have a lot of numbers from different states that they call from once one blocks a number and NEVER EVER leave a message! The calls are to my cell at odd hours and I am not wasting valuable minutes or dropping what I am doing to answer an UNKNOWN call where the caller hangs up as soon as one answers.

 This is my personal cell and have had my number for 16 yrs, no one has had it previously, I never give it out except to family, friends and select co-workers, I've never had service with AT&T or T-mobile and never missed a payment to my carrier or any C/C company, therefore they have no legitimate reason to call my cell number.
 If they are a legit debt collector, why don't they leave a message explaining what the debt is for or by whom, for who it is for by name, why it is considered unpaid and a call back number and/or other pertinent info regarding the collection thereof?  If they left a message with this info, I might then know what I am dealing with, a possible mistaken acct # or other clerical error on a debtor that I did DO business with at some time, mistaken identity or some other mistake. I would then know how to proceed. This vague hanging up nonsense serves no one!

This sounds like some scam outfit pretending to be a debt collector and the posts here regarding contacting them by "legal letters" or calling them back might just be "employees" that are part of the scam using phishing techniques.
I have repeatedly reported these calls/numbers to the 'do not call' registry to no avail. I am not giving these people any of my P.I.I.  for fear of the above mentioned scam possibility.

I have received SEVERAL calls from 571.261.0020 in the last few days, early morning and late at night. I have answered and no one is there.  After reading responses that it is a collection agency I tried to get to the bottom of it. I called the number and on the first ring someone named Ashley answered "RPM".  I explained that I was receiving several calls and she *immediately* said they were looking for (my first name and a very similar - made up sounding last name). I told her I was not that person and she said she would remove me from the list and thanked me for letting them know...we'll see what happens

I work at a cancer care chemotherapy unit as a nurse. these people call my line 5-10 times a DAY. I have caller ID and I answer every time and they say they are a collection agency and are calling to collect money they are owed from mike. I say "there is no Mike here. This is a hospital" and they say "are you Mike's wife?" and I hang up. They call right back and I answer again and they hang up on me. I just stopped answering. I have other people to worry about.

Received call after 10 PM last night. They didn't leave a message.

I got a call from this number asking for someone not even living here.  Do not recognize number and am on a no call list for Kentucky.

I get calls from this number atleast ten times EVERYDAY... even Sunday while I'm in church.. Who ever it is never leaves a message but they are calling my blocked cell phone number and on the few times I've answered it to let them know to leave me alone NOBODY's even there.. My husband is wondering what bill is floating around out there for someone to call daily... Not only is it my cell phone but I have limited minutes and this number takes minutes away if they leave a message or if I answer... sad enough one day when I answered it; the voice recording said please wait up to ten minutes for a service tec... HELLO I'm not getting anything serviced.. DUH I wish this number away..

I thought I was the only one!  The number 571-261-0020.  I'll get calls from this number non-stop and then nothing for a few weeks.  They called me today again.  No message.

I have been getting calls from these ppl as well. The trick is though that I never answer my phone because I am too busy with three jobs and two classes, I barely have time to eat let alone speak to these losers.
I figure that if it was actually important, they would actually leave a message instead of just calling and hanging up.

Just a warning: I checked my credit report in May due to receiving a rejection letter from a credit card company that I did not even apply for. Someone tried to open a credit card under my old (really old) married name in May. Either it was my ex or one of these scam companies. I have since had a fraud alert placed on my credit report.
