does anybody know what company they are with

I answered - got an automated message.  Something similar to Push 1 if you are "John Smith;"  push 2 if you want to put the phone on hold to give "John Smith" time to come to the phone; push 3 if "John Smith" is not available to come to the phone; push 4 if "John Smith" cannot be reached at this number.

I pushed "4."  I'm taking bets on how long before they call me back anyway?

They stop a while,,,and call again.

Went to "whocalled.us/lookup/aacc" to find the company that keeps calling. There are phone numbers for customer service, corp headquarters, etc. Found it interesting that they use 158 different numbers to "harass" people with.

why bill collecter dont leave a message, call 3to 5 time a day just for fun, they call from different number but same  company.

A call came in from  company called Asset Acceptance. They call and call but don't leave a message.  I called them asking them to stop and they were trying to reach someone named Jay Johnson. Never heard of him and no Johnson's live here. This company needs to be sued.

This company has been calling my house for at least 2 years.  For the first year it was a recorded message telling me that if I continued to listen to the message then I was the person they were calling for.  Now they call several times a week and hang up after 4 or 5 rings.  I want them to stop calling.

these calls are getting annoying. they tell me if you are listening then you must be this certain person. I have an answering machine that answers and screens my calls. I am not answering that number anymore and it comes with unknown name with that 5712610105 number.

This number calling my phone every single day.  I hung up after telling them stop calling.  I pick the phone they put a voice system.  How dump they can be.

ask for jessica who i don't know. used to call and i explained we must have her old phone number. had it 3 years now. they quit for a couple months, now they are back at it. call under various phone numbers. 571-261-0105 & 443-550-7959

I just received a call from 571-261-0105 8pm est ...indeed the number is Asset Acceptance. They have been calling my # for about 2yrs asking for Katherine Gregory; I have called them again this evening(11/9/09)demanding that they take my# off of their list and informed them that although I am not the person they keep calling for, it is a violation of FDCPA to call and not leave a toll free # for a debtor to return their call. The representative apologized and claimed that she was blocking/taking my# out...well, we'll see what happens. Perhaps, I will have to get the FTC and/or my state's Atty Gen. ofc involved.

This number calls at least once a week....usually no one there, or they ask for someone not at this residence.

tried to call block them but AT&T said that number isn't available to be blocked.

A computer garbles some made up name; sounds like they are asking for Osama Bin Laden.  STOP CALLING ME or I will get a lawyer.

Asset Acceptance is the name of the company. Calling for KC Clausen.  I've had this phone number for years.  No KC Clausen.  Once a year I asked to be removed from their list.  They continue to call me.  Next time I sue.

Caller ID says Haymarket Virginia.  No message but several calls a month

I also just received a call for the 6th time! There is no Andrews here. They also told me two calls ago that they would remove my number from their list. What can we really do about this? I ran out of the shower to answer this stupid call, expecting it was the babysitter canceling on us.

I started getting calls from this company for a Tawny Crumb. There is no Tawny Crumb at my house. I have had this number for over a year. The same day I first got a call from them for Tawny Crumb, I also got an automated call from the local CVS telling Tawny Crumb her prescription was ready. I also get CVS calls, nursing association calls and collection call for a Robert Haney. Makes me wonder how many people had this number before I did.
