Responded to an ad I posted on craigslist and sent a fake check in the amount of $2900. I never cashed it.

Tried to get me to send my phone to Nigeria with a fake paypal transfer.

My husband just posted on Craigslist & got an immediate response asking if still had for sale. They asked for more pics & said would pay asking price. Then asked for PayPal info. We stopped replying once I saw this info. Thanks for posting.

I posted an add to sell my vehicle on Craig's list and this man contacted me asking for my Paypal info bc he wanted buy my vehicle for the full asking price for his in-laws. I googled his name and found this!

Same type of thing happened this evening with the vehicle I have for sale. I advised him I have turned it over to the FBI. Last time I was mailed laundered money orders, and the FBI went after those people.

Same guy Roberto Mark, "you still have your truck for sale?" Me, "Yes, I just posted it". Is this guy on Glue?

they want you to open a paypal account.. then give them the account number.. so they can drain your money.. fuggin sammers.. there must be a school somwhere teaching these azzholesz how to do this with pre typed responses

Beware of 571-408-9239.  I'm in Akron I put on post cash only and he is using the same line all the scammers so far have used. It's like they copy and paste this:Hello i view this posting on CL still wanna sell it?.... 1 carat diamond ring in platinum - $4000 (Akron, Ohio)
Now if your selling a ring who doesn't want to see it first ESP an investment that big.  Sometimes it's just common sense.   These guys are so annoying

got a message from this no.# 571-305-2921 saying they wanted my truck, without seeing it, and that they will give me full price for it. Wants to send some agent to pick up truck.  Wants PayPal account & email & full name! As if!!!!!! Says he's on the sea right now, but lives in Hawaii offshore. Says he's a "merchant marine". Very  persistent! '' DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF  TO THIS PERSON!''

This guy Roberto Mark tried to scam me out of a dodge ram

This guy called using the name Roberto Mark. He wanted my pickup that i have on cl said he was buying it for his in law, pay the asking price just needed pay pal info. Needed everything done right now. Said he works of shore and would send his agent. Thank you all for this web site.

tried to scam me out of my Jeep

This number was trying to scam me out of  my Jeep.

I too posted my Mercedes for sale on Craigslist and received a text from Roberto Mark stating he will pay my full asking price, does not need to see the vehicle in person and is buying for his in-laws, but is too busy working to handle the transaction, so will send an "agent" to pick up the vehicle once monies have been transferred to my paypal account. Although he asked for my full name and email, I did not provide it. This is a SCAM and I feel for the Karma he/she will be cursed with for their illegal conduct.

got a text from this number asking for our paypal account and wanted to send a truck to pick up our vehicle for sale on Craigslist. Feel a bit uneasy about providing any of this information. good to read others are posting a possible hoax.

Got txt stating all above wanting to pay full price without seeing the vehicle at all obvious spam wanted me to open paypal account to wire funds and have a driver come and pick it up.

He just texted me to buy my car saying same story about paypal etc.

This guy tried to scam me for a craigslist motorcycle as well.  He texts from Virginia and I am in California!

FYI, everyone should report this as fraud.
