Panasonic model KX-TG6481 cordless phone allows you to block 500 numbers.  This is the only phone I could find (after exhausting research) that allows you to completely block the ringing for blocked numbers. I bought the model with 3 extensions and it has changed my life.  I was getting 2 or 3 spam calls a day and now it's down to about 1 per month.  The Do Not Call registry is but a money making operation for the feds.  They never put anyone out of business.  They fine the offenders an insignificant amount that they are quite willing to pay.  The feds do this hundreds or thousands of times a day and generate a pretty good income.  if they put the spammers out of business. the feds income would dry up.  Where do you think the spammers get your number from?  The feds send them a list of "do not call' numbers and they of course resell the list or open under a different  name with a list of hundreds of thousands of numbers to call.

Called my office (State business office) and still proceeded to ask for donations. SCAM?! 3rd call in as many days, comes up as a wireless caller.

Answered call, no reply, no dial tone, dead air.  Extremely inappropriate at the dinner hour!

Keeps calling my unlisted number, even after 9 at night.  I think I will turn my fax machine on.  There should be a law to stop bottom feeders like this.

We use an MP3 file with the At&T boo booo beep non working number tone. The Robo Dialer recognizes this tone and automatically removes your number and sends the removed number to all the other robo dialer list's as a bad number and BINGO no more robo or political calls.

Since enrolling in NoMoRobo, these calls have all but disappeared.  NoMoRobo.com allows VOIP phone subscribers to enroll free of charge.  You hear 1/2 ring and the call is disconnected.  NoMoRobo has more than 1,000,000,000 numbers in their database.  If one gets through, it can be reported and added to the list.

I'm receiving at least one call from this number every evening, I don't pick up as I checked the unknown number the first time they called and saw the posts on this site.  They never, ever leave a message, time to block the number.

Supposedly a charity donation solicitation, which allows them to ignore the DNC list.  Did not leave a message, but when I called back, the voice said he was "Jeff Sturt, from American Veteran's Support Foundation."  He hung up when I told him I was recording the conversation.

I strongly suspect this is not a legitimate charity.

Rec'd a call a few minutes ago, answered it because I recognized Mc Lean, VA from numerous previous calls we did not answer & wanted to lay into them, no one on the line?

Rec'd a call tonight.  They Identified themselves as an organization called Residential Way out of New Jersey that works on the behalf of Military Veterans looking for a donation..  This was a robo call.  Seemed like you were talking to a person,  but answers to my questions were delayed and pre-recorded.   I did get an answer to one of my questions.  They get 90% of the donation and the Veterans get 10%.    Wow!!!  Could they spare it.     What a disgrace.   Maybe the IRS and Attorney Generals of every state they call should pay them a visit.  Don't you need a Tax ID and a license to solicit in each state.   If this is a legit organization maybe our veterans should be contacting them for some much needed assistance.   Some how I think this phone number will be disconnected soon.
