A recorded message telling me my debit card was disabled.  It told me to enter my number.  I entered random 16 digits and it told me I was incorrect.  I tried to press 0 to get an operator and it finally hung up on me. I called the number back and it was answered as a disconnected Verizon number.

I got this call on my cell phone telling me my card is being deactivated, but it doesn't tell me which card or why.  It then asks for my 16 digit card number.  I just hung up.  My husband got the same call.

Looks like a scam. Electronic machine calls you, and waits to hear a human voice. doesn't leave a message if you dont answer. Scam to get your personal info and banking info. Never give out info esp if they call and ask you.

Recieved a message from "Associated Bank" from someone in Virginia, robot voice, who said that my card has been suspended due to suspicious activity from a third party. I don't have a credit card and when asked to be transferred to security they wanted my card number.

I got the same call asking for my debit card info and also hung up.  When I called the # back the message said the # was disconnected.  Then I called my bank.  The do NOT ask for card info over the phone.

i just got called from a bank ATM card being stolen asking me for my info... I hung up.

Got a call from this number in Wisconsin at midnight. Verizon says it's disconnected - obviously its not.

Got message from this number too. Scan, I guess.

Just got a call from this number too.  Tried to call it back from my office phone and it said it was a disconnected or changed mobile number.

Just got a call from same number in Texas.  Definitely a scam.

Received a call on my cell last night around 11:30pm - we were sleeping. No message. Googled the number and found this site. Beware of numbers you don't know!

Its 10:17 p.m. Texas time and i got a call from 571-422-7207. I never answer calls from unknown numbers but instead googled the number and got this web page showing where others had also received calls from this number.

I got this call also aboutebit card security being breached at a bank I didn't have a debit card at.  I tried to push the button to talk to security but got the same recording over and over then hung up and called the number back and got the verizon recording number disconnected.

Got a call from this number and it says my debit for the Wayne Bank is being closed. Since I don't have a debit for Wayne Bank I just hung up,But there is a scam out there for the bank so everyone be aware..

Just recieved a text to my at&t phone saying "Sent you an email.  When you get a chance do take a look at it.".... of course, i never recieved an email... just the text to the mobile, trying to get me to call...

We received the same type of message this morning.  "Your card has been deactivated....3rd party...press 1" etc.   Our Texas cell starts with 972-816.  I could not clearly hear what "bank" they were from.

I just a call from it too. I work for the Better Business Bureau. The only way to stop these annoying calls that I am aware of is to call the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357 and to report them.  Other than that, contact your elected officials and register complaints about annoying robocalls.  Stricter laws need made.

I AM SOOOOO TIRED OF THESE STUPID CALLS ABOUT ATM CARDS - I DON'T EVEN HAVE ONE.
EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS IS A SCAM AND NOT REPLY.

I received a call from this number several times.  It is an identity theft scam.  Go to www.donotcall.gov (National Do Not Call Registry) and file a complaint.  This is the only way to get the calls to stop.

I got one but missed the call.  In the past, I've received calls asking about my ATM card.  I hung up.  I've got something on Craig's list?  Anyone else?

Got a call from this # at 3am!  They left a msg that kept cutting out and all I heard was "This is ___Point bank.  Your account has been temp suspended b/c of a 3rd party using it.  Press 1 to go to our security dept."  When I called it back it was Verizon# that's not working.  My husband got a call yesterday that was from a Verizon# in Alaska....about to look that # as well!  JERKS!

today for the 3rd time in 3 months I got this automated call to reactivate my ATM card on my cell phone # which very few people have, not even my bank.  Its really starting to p$@s me off.  I've got better things to do that deal with frauds, someone please shut them down

I too am in Texas and got I got a call from this number last night on my cell phone (AT&T), at almost midnight. I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave any message. However, my husband is away on a business trip, so I called the number in case it was him or someone else calling after an emergency, but I too got an automated answer from Verizon stating that the number I was trying to reach was not in use.

To the people filing complaints with the DNC registry-as it appears that this is a scam, and that they are using a fake number, does this make sense to file a complaint? Isn't the DNC registry to prevent legitimate telemarketers from calling? I can't imagine that this would stop scam artists.
