Just called this number back and it is a call center that hosts many types of telemarketers.  It does give you the option to remove your number from their call lists and also gives you the option to speak to a live person. Yea right...how long can YOU stay on hold?  

Wanting to update my google listing. Not google though, they are trying to sell you their service to update your google listing.I would assume is a scam though.I did keep them on the line asking silly questions till they hung up.

These people should not be left on the streets ?   Better place for them is behind the bars.

This number has called me 8x this past week, and claims they are Google Maps Local Listing. Further, they say that my business listing is "misc." and when I asked why, since I had gone through my account at length with Google Maps, the sales rep hung up! This is for sure bogus.

Asked the caller to stop calling and was told they couldn't remove me from the list unless I was the business owner.  This was a google maps listing, they said there were errors on our map listing.  I refused to give her information.

Definitely NOT a "Local Business" since it's a call from out-of-state!! They hung up when the call was answered ... not even the courtesy of "HEY! I'm sorry ... wrong number!"  Damn SCAM!!!!

I got a call from this number saying I had paid $309 for computer services but that I had not used it so my money would be refunded.  I was told to buy a GreenDot MoneyPak card for $100 and then the $309 would be added back to my card.

As the comment above states, the number I was called from was disconnected.  I looked up GreenDot MoneyPak and the website says do not give number to anyone you don't know.

Obviously a major scam.

Another of GB Marketing's "robo call" lines.  GOD I HATE THESE PEOPLE!.

Got a call from this number about 10 minutes ago.  The caller id said "Promociones Virginia, United States".  I did not answer, checked this website and realized it was a scammer.

I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

Google Maps robo call scam

They don't care if you answer the phone or not, they figure enough dopes will call them back seeing the phone number on the caller-ID...those are the marks the spammers really want, those dumb enough to call back these vermin.

ID as Local Business.  But appears to be another google listing ploy or scam.  These guys have more phone numbers and locations than I can count.  Give them nothing.  Again, they take up space on the
call ID.

Just received a call from them. No message left. Caller ID showed TBD. Recording said I requested more information from them????

Called today and didn't answer. Didn't leave message. The ID said  local business.

DO NOT CALL

This number calls our business almost every day, so we just quit answering.  The few times in the past that the recorder came on, it was Google trying to get us to advertise, or up our name on their search list.

NSA?  Naw.  Read the news?  The NSA had hidden chips installed in every electronic device made, and has the ability to listen to you even when the power is turned off!!!  Which includes your computer, cell phone, any hand held device, and even your car, unless it's an antique.

I'm 99.9% sure this is not Google.  Luckily, it's an automated message, so you can just hang up.  I'd recommend not pushing any numbers & not calling back, or they'll just keep calling you.

We get a call from this number every. single. freakin. day...and every day, I file a complain with the Do Not Call Registry.  Talk about an effort in futility!

Called # back and it was a jax, fl area code mailbox, number said 904-571-4410.
asked to be removed via msg 4x, doesnt work
