I got a text saying. I want ur s2 on Cl ,I'm @ work so email me here directly @ ( chrispecky03@gmail.com ) with the price & more info on it.Dnt txt me.
The price was in the ad, i emailed him and told him the price and he gave me the story about not being able to meet because if his job but would like to send it to his daughter for a birthday present. He said he would give me the cost of the phone and shipping thru pay pal.

Posted an ad on CL and received txt from this number ...SCAMMER

Same thing for me!  Posted ad for car for sale, said he was at work to email me with info, which all info is in ad.  Red flags everywhere!  Dont trust this!!!!

Got the same message from a post I put on Craigslist for my car the number was 913-956-0196

I got similar text message as above. Could not call since he was at work as marine engineer at sea. Text said to contact him at his email(chrispecky03@gmail.com) had limited or no access to internet or online banking so he will pay thru PayPal. I responded with his request for additional info about the car and he responded quickly! That raised the flag. With limited internet access, he could respond so quickly. Also the text said his agent will pickup the car once payment was received by me,. "Agent' raised another flag. Next day I searched and Google and found scam info.

got message that read I want your vehicle on craigslist, I'm @ work so get back to me here directly@(chrispecky03@ gmail.com) with the final price &more info on it.       I had price and info listed in add he didn't mention make of car or anything else I listed in add red flags went up

Got the same message that he wanted my vehicle and that he was at work.

Same scam as above, but now he is a marine engineer at sea. He told me he couldn't call me due to being at sea, but sent me text messages about payment. I told him I was on the phone with pay pal and that he was a scam. No responses since that message. Really makes me made that he said he was in the service! Now all my ads on craigslist have cash and need to meet in person.

I just got a txt from this number regarding a snowmobile I have for sale this is the third time I have been troubled like this off kijiji selling something, they usually try and scam u as soon as it goes up trying to get new people, they will use a pay pal scam for money, do not fall for it, the second time I was rude with them when I emailed them back but the third time I played along with their bs. And they would say they are working on a cruise ship blah blah blah or stupid a** excuses of why thu can't talk on the phone hahaha don't be fooled people one day it will catch up to them.

got a text that he was interested in my car. im in canada and he's in colorado wow this guy has balls, red flags went up right away, he responded he was at work and interested in my vehicle, so i did not respond obviously,

This person sent me a text message in response to a car I posted for sale on Craigslist.  He said he wants my car but to EMAIL him the price and condition -- both of which ARE answered already IN THE AD.  I texted him back, telling him this and to call me if he has more questions.  He responded that he is at work and would like me to email him at chrispecky03@gmail.com.  Red flags went up from the get-go -- what a JERK!  Of course I am not going to EMAIL him so he can send me SPAM or whatever else.
