Got text offering to buy my items listed on Craig's list with cashier check & mover to pick it up.

I got texts from this number as well from this Matt guy (bot). kept on saying he would send me a check by fed ex and after i received the payment he would send his mover to pick up the 65 mustang trunk lid i had on craigslist

Asked if I had The Item you are selling still available? I know ppl and this isn't how ppl talk. I didn't even give him the chance to ask for a PayPal or for me to take a check. Wish ppl would get a job.

Just got a text from Matt saying he wants to send a mover to pick up a 3ds wanting my info to make out a check. Thanks but no thanks.  I told him cash only and he stopped responding. Glad I looked up his number.

Same as Mea Chen above me except I wasn't as straight forward about cash only.  I just expressed concern over taking a check from a stranger who hadn't seen the product for themself. "Matt" asked why and I proceeded to explain craigslists first rule "deal locally with peopke you can meet in person."  I didn't get a reaponse

this guy told me his name is Mat and wanted to send a mover with a check for my goods. he needed my info. told him i excpected CASH and exchange only at police station in my nieghborhood. all this was text messages on my cell.no more respond.

in florida, this number contacted me to purchase a laptop, hasn't replied back yet. reverse search shows: VoIP phone from Herndon, VA
feb 2012, so yeah avoid like the plague.
