Got the same text message from "Marine Engineer" answering an ad we placed in an online classifieds. Wants Pay Pal account number and will have tbeir Shipping Agent pick up the item. Good Luck Scammers. HUGE BIG HEAVY LOG style Benches here in Utah.

Confirmed PayPal scammer. He wants to buy my item from a local classified ad, but because he's a "marine engineer", he wants to pay via PayPal and have a "local agent" come get the item. The victims of these scams receive spoofed payment confirmations or fraudulent payments from PayPal, then turn the item over to the 'agent'. After a few days, the fraud is discovered, the payment is rescinded, and the item is gone.

Scammer. Responded to a classified ad in extremely broken English, and wanting to know my PayPal account info.

I recieved a text message almost immediatley when I posted on craigslist. Requested my paypal info also - definatley a scam.

Got a text from this number dew to i posted 2 wheel chairs on craigs list. Dont know if it's a scammer or not ????? but wanted my info for pay-pal not shure i want to give it to it called the number and left a message for the person to call me so i can talk to someone havent got a call back got a text i will call you soon the message box said this is kathy leave a message but sounds auto mated
