Called my cell phone and I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, I let them go to voice mail.  This caller did not leave a message, so I don't know what the call was concerning.

I got a call from this number last night around 7:19 PM. My w pick up the phone but no answer.  I called back and a robot machine ask me that I am looking for a job and they want my info to press 1.  I didn't and hang up.  I called a again this morning to ask for why they know my cell phone but unfortunately the office close .... I hang up. Thanks for everyone info posted here so I know it is scam phone.

Got one last night on my cell phone, no message left and like the others, I was not online looking for jobs.

Same caller called my husband's phone said we did a survey. I hung up. Later, they called my cell phone.

they claim they will link me to a job...I don't believe it...I hung up when he asked for an address.

I didn't apply to any online jobs.  Haven't for over 3 years now.

Never mind it was a coincidence. I think they're reaping info when you apply online to jobs. Be careful.

I got a call. I fed him a line, giving him false info. They as stated, tell you that you took an online survey which I didn't, and ask you a bunch of questions. My false info was apparently what he wanted to hear. The guy "Chris" transferred me to 1-877-533-1912 which is apparently in FL. After speaking to a rude "Amanda" and a supervisor, I fear I got everything out of them I could. Amanda was trying to sell me in to some sort of continued education and her questions got too personal when she asked me what fields of study I was interested in, I replied spear fishing and social engineering,, she hung up.

Within my 10 or so calls back to them, every time I started digging,, they'd hang up.

Definitely sketchy, if not the most sophisticated illegal spear fishing attempt I've ever seen(heard).

I also got a call from this number. WNS postions and he wanted more information from me for those positions.

This number shows up when whole foods is calling my cell.
I think this is a generic number used so you can't call them back.

I got call this night and they said I applied for a job online but , I did n't . those people are trying to got some info like your ssn and you guys gotta be carefull

UPDATE: A few minutes ago I posted that I got a call from this number on my work cell phone.  I just now got a call on my home cell phone from the same number.  I am disturbed by this, and by the fact that someone else on this message board had the same thing happen.

A person who called me at 1:50 p.m, but I am also deaf. I tried to call that person. The person had no answer to call me off. The person made me strange. I tried to call that person in a few times. The person still had no answer. I gave up for that person was very strange.

I got a call earlier today from same number on my work cell phone.  I did not answer, and no message was left.  Rarely do I give out that number except to doctors, family and people I currently do business with.  I don't have Allstate as one of the previous posts mentioned.

Picked up and immediately hung up on.  Would like to know who this is so they can be properly taken care of by the FCC.

Got a call at 6:30 PM. Said hello a bunch of times, then there was a beep and they hung up. It's a local number for me so I answered but I usually do not make a habit of taking calls from new or unknown numbers. It's a scam, don't bother answering or calling back and NEVER give them ANY information.

Just got a call from 1(571) 762 0092.  When I answered, there was silence and then a recorded voice said, "good bye".  weird.

I just got one, too. But I never process such calls. They are cyber criminals trying to trick unsuspecting individuals into providing sensitive information.

As an information Security professional, I would STRONGLY recommend that you not provide ANY personally identifiable information, or sensitive personally identifiable (PII/SPII) to individuals you do not know. No serious employer would find your number "online" and start calling you. There are staffing agencies. Why can't they work with them, anyway?

I just got one as well. Didn't answer. No message left. Judging from what everyone has said it looks like an attempt to identity fraud.

I had a missed call from this number.  Called it back since they did not leave a msg.  A recording quickly picked up stating that while I was online, I must have indicated that I was in the market for employment.  Then it forwarded me to a guy but I could hardly hear him so I hung up.  Most likely a scam.

I also got called on both my work and personal cell phone numbers within an hour of each other. As I do not use my work cell phone for any non-work related purpose so was very surprised by the call. The only people who have my both numbers are my immediate family members, and Allstate Auto insurance by mistake. So either the contact list got stolen from one of my family members or the source is leak is Allstate.

The male person talked same stuff as others have described. The first couple of sentences/interaction almost seemed with a live person and then it was little confusing by the non-relevant responses to what I was saying.

Got a call from this number and no voicemail. Called back. Initially the signal is clear and says thank you for calling WN Positions blah blah blah. You have the option to press 1 for more info. I did so that I could get to the bottom of this. A very garbled (likely intentionally) message (live receptionist or pre-recorded) played and then hung up when I asked how they got my info. Scam City. Hope they don't harass me any more.
