I screen my calls if I don't recognize them so I let it go to voicemail, at which point the caller hung up.

this number keeps calling me, almost daily. They used to hang up when it went to voice mail, now they make weird sounds...like breathing or something. I want this to stop

I'd like to know how to get in touch with someone to report this number and have them stop calling. I tried to call them back and demand to be taken off their harassment list, but get a message that this number is no longer in use - even though they just called me.

I was sleeping early this morning, and I got a phone call from 571-918-6015. I let it get to voice mail, and as soon as I played it, there was nothing but a thirty second silence. I thought I heard a woman in the background and some phones ringing. I was about to do a reverse lookup, then I saw this forum as the first result in google and decided to post. I'm not sure why this man or whoever this person decided to call me. For one, I have a low temper. If this person calls back, it'll be the last. Glad to know what I'm dealing with. One thing I don't know is.. how the hell did he get my number?

This is the name in the phone book. They no longer live here. The housekeeper answered and he asked to speak to Mrs. Jennings. She told him she was out and he hung up on her. I'm on the do not call list and this call came today (Tuesday 8:30 AM.)

States he is from the Police Association wanting to know where my payment was that my wife agreed to send in.  The problem is I don't have a wife...

Just got a call from this number at 8:07 AM Saturday.  I was not able to answer it and no message was left. I was concerned because I have two children at sleep overs this weekend and couldn't understand why anyone else, especially a telemarketer or charity collector, would call this early. Glad to know my kids aren't in need of me, but these people need to stop this nonsense, especially at 8:00 AM on a Saturday.

Same here, called home, didn't leave a message. But on the other hand, my daughter didn't answer either :)

This is what you do.  When you see the number on your caller ID that you know is from someone you don't want to speak with, pick up the phone and say immediately, "please take this number off your list."  Don't say hello, don't say anything else.  That will take care of the problem.

The caller ID shows Virginia. When I answer the phone a man asks for my husband. I ask who is calling and he say s he is calling from a charity that my husband supports. I ask which charity and he says Amvets and can he speak to my husband. My husband has not been available when he calls and when I tell him no he hangs up on me mid-sentence. Can't even ask him for a way to contact him back if we wanted to. I have already filed an FCC complaint. I am getting tired of him inconveniencing me with these phone calls and then having the nerve to be rude to me when I answer. He won't stay on the line long enough for you to tell him to take your name off his list before he hangs up?? What does one have to do to get him to stop? Blow an air horn into the phone???

Calls about twice a week. I always let the machine ans. They NEVER lease a message.  call-id says 571-918-6015 Virginia

We get several calls a day from this number, not sure if anyone is on the other end, but are on the national do not call list.

These stupid acting guys repeatedly call and never leave a message. Dunno what they are up to. Are they just trying to figure out who picks a call and later bombard these civil folks with other bad ones!!??

Asked for my husband.  When I told him he wasn't here - he hung up before I even finished my sentence!
