Got a call from this # 571 969 3902 glad I googled it its sad what people will do to make a dollar. He works on an oil rig and is triing to buy my school bus for his son for a surprise.  First vehicle.  I wouldn't buy my son a 64 passenger school bus for his first vehicle.  I smell a scam.

Tried to get me today! I'm selling my wedding gown on EBay Classifieds. I knew something was wrong the minute they started texting in bad English saying they wanted it sent to an international address as a "gift" for his cousin. Ha! A wedding dress as a gift?? Then my husband receives an email saying 870.00 was sent to our Paypal, went into our real Paypal account, no money is there. I wish police could lock this idiot up! Waste of my time!!! Email was sent from dorriscarson@gmail.com!! Wanted me to send to Nigeria. Unbelievable.

Tried to scam me and get my paypal information.   I appreciate this site when I looked up number to check it out.  Thank goodness for goggle.  This is what happened, a person with this number 571-969-3902 text me and wanted to purchase my two phones and louis vuitton handbag i was selling.  They said they sent 880.00 into my paypal.  So I needed to send package to them.  I dont know what fool they thought I was but I never send anything out until funds are in my account.  They also told me to go to yahoo it would be easier to communicate.  I have the email address linked with this number its lindajojo11@yahoo.com.  Beaware this is a scammer.  I hope I didnt mess up by going on yahoo and communicating with them.  But I have safelock so Goodluck to them trying to get my bank info.  I hope these people are caught and prosecuted.  I hope this email helps detectives get closer to catching them because it is linked to the 571 number.  Remember not to ever give out any personal info about yourself such as bank ss address.  Thank you.

got a text message about my e-bay listing he wanted buy for his daddy he said he would pay though pay pal but could not pay for the pick up fee with pay pal he has no credit card so he would put it on my pay pal acct and I will have to pay for the pick up fee with my credit card, I told him NO he send another text please I want you to understand me better I am overseas and do to my job I don't have a credit card so please help me send transport you can trust me. I text him back and said I just reported u to the police!!! Dumb A**!!

Got this call at 3:00 a.m.  Hard to understand so I hung up.  Then got text message right after saying interested in my E-Bay classified listing.  Knew it was a scammer so I texted back " I am reporting you SCAMMER!"  Never heard back.  Surprise.

its a google voice # that never picks up. they are pulling numbers off craigs list for expensive furniture. lways text me at 5 or 7am even though my ads all specify NO TEXTING WILL BE ANSWERED, total scam artist, uses several different numbers

Me, too.  Wants to surprise his cousin with a piece of furniture I have on ebay classified.  Thanks everyone.  I'll google every number I hear from now that I've found out this one is a real scam.

Wow.  I got excited to get a response 2 hours after I posted my car.  Glad I googled the number.  I was just curious where area code 571 was located.  Didn't even think about scammers.  Thanks for all your posts.  I got the same text message at 11:57 pm.  Unbelievable.

Same thing, 6:30 am texted to see if I still have car, 1 minute later, same text about another item from another number. I will not respond.

Scammer, using very poor English grammar.  Reminds me of the emails I get from the lawyer in Africa notifying me I had a rich prince or king in Nigeria who died and is leaving my 68 million dollars if I send him $6k for processing fees.  :)

this is a scammer on craigslist  warning don't give your email to them .  pretending they will make a paypal to you.... stay away ..i found this number as a scams off of  craigslist at internet, search this number and you will see it there....571 969 3902
