Called back the number and the message was Missouri Deputy Sheriffs Association. Just a parisite fund raising orginization.

got a call from this number...caller id only said...local number 573-234-4267...called back. also said mo deputy sheriffs association.

got a call from 573-234-4267...when I answered, party hung up....

573-234-4267 They called my business and went silent after the default reception we answer with, which identifies our business and our personal name. When I called back it said thanks for calling the Missouri Deputy Sheriff's association.

Try and remember the people on the phone are simply trying to do some honest work, it isn't glamerous for them.  The 'charaties' are probably bullsh*t, and who the hell likes the popo anymore anyway?  I don't know anyone, male or female, old or young, that isn't scared sh*tless by the police.

Received several calls within 2 days from this number and when we answer it identifying our business they hang up.

Got calls from 573-234-4267 4 days in a row...Day 3 I answer and they laughed and hung up.  Day 4 they asked for Mrs...using my boyfriend's last name I said my first name and they once again asked for Mrs...and hung up.

This number calls twice a day to our business once in the morning and again in the evening.  I understand that they have a job, but so do I.  I am NOT even given the option to STOP future calls.  What am I to do?

This number acutally just called me and like 'andy' they asked for a mr or mrs and my fiances last name. I told her I was his fiance and she then was rude and said "SO IS YOUR LAST NAME (his last name)!!!" I said "no" she continued to me be rude and i asked if i could take a message and she bluntly said no and hung up. Next time they call, i don't care if its not the same person, im going to give them a load of my mind.

They appear to be a Skip Tracing company for Chase Auto Finance. They must be looking for you deadbeats out there. Pay up or Give up.

So the Missouri Deputy Sheriffs' Association is a front for Chase Auto Finance?  I haven't owed a dime on my car in three years and have never financed through Chase; yet, I get calls from them quite frequently.  My guess is you work for them and you're here to make a shady outfit look kosher.  Good luck with that.

I'd never give them a cent, merely for their obnoxious attitudes.

This number called and left no message.  I called it back and got the following message.

"You've reached the office of the Missouri Veterans Association..."

Caller id said out of area. Man on the phone said  he was with the Deputy Sheriff's Association. Asked for my husband  Hung up when I said that we do not donate on the phone. Then I called our local Sheriff Department to report this call. The deputy said that is the 3rd call this evening. They also said they do not make phone calls like that.

They called me at 10:20 P.M!!  I thought they were not allowed to call after NINE!!  Who the &%#@*! calls after TEN at night???

Calls my house every evening at almost nine at night. No one is ever there and I hang up. When I try to call it back I get a recording that this is a non working number. If it doesn't work, How do they call me?

this nimber has called my house several times. he asked for my dad but told him he wasnt home. he didnt leave a message. so i looked the number up they r located in columbia mo. then i found people reoporting this number as a seriffs department calling 4 donations then i looked a little more and found that 1-2 years ago they reported themselves as vetrins memorial asso. asking 4 money i found more lies also. they r frauds report them they just r scaming 4 ur money.

I have been receiving calls from this number, they never leave a message....I returned the call and it was a deputy office.

Called looking for my son he introduced himself as Deputy Sheriff Mario. But won't tell me any reason why they called.

They called at 8:25 pm on June 16. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

PLEASE:  Report suspected fraudulent telephone solicitations, or other suspected fraud schemes to the police department immediately.

They are at it again.  The first time they called today, they didn't say anything.  The second time they finally asked for my owner by his first name (like they knew him).  I knew that they didn't know him because if they did they would know that he is NEVER at this number.  I asked if I could help him.  He said "No.  I'll try back later."  I finally told the guy that this is MY office!  What do you need.  They were trying to get donations for sheriffs assoc.  I told him I don't do donations over the phone, send me something.  He said ok, let me get my boss to get your information.  Then someone named Todd got on and again tried to get me to do it over the phone.  I said send me something in the mail.  I guess they didn't want to do that because he hung up.

Calls but won't leave message and won't say reason for call.

Male caller wanted owner of our business;calling him by first name. Hung up when I asked for the reason for the call.

I have received several calls from this number. They hang up on me every time I answer.  I called the number back they say they are with the Deputy association, sorry they misses us but will call back or you can call them at 1-800-396.9704.  No one answers on that phone number either.  Sounds like a scam to me.  I wouldn't give them money anyway but sure would like to give them a whistle (a loud one).

Received call from 573 234-4267 - man asked for "Jack" (my husband) and it sounded like we knew him. Turns out he was a fast talker calling for donations from the Deputy Sheriff's Association (he said collecting money for charity - locating missing children and such). Not sure if it is legitimate or not. I NEVER donate to anyone from a phone call.

this number has called for the last 5 nights in a row at the same time. i answer and no one is there.

call showed as "out of area."  They call a couple of times a day, so I finally answered.  They asked for my husband and I told him he was unavailable and could take a message.  They said that it was just a "courtesy call" and would try back later.  They wouldn't tell me who they were.
