That's because it is a scam.  Even if you did take out a loan and failed to pay it back, it's not a crime.  And it's certainly not "stealing".  And you're correct, if you were going to be served, the process server would just show up, unannounced.  Report your callers to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.

I received a call from them that I was being served for theft via a loan company that I apparently scammed and stole funds from??? my account has no unexplained activity I wouldn't give em any information and they threatened to have me served at my place of business... When in reality if somebody is going to be served they don't normally get a phone call heads up. When I googled the number it was linked to a remarkable amount of scams..

Same emails and sob stories coming from Clara Menson trying to sell a Ford F-250 Harley Davidson truck . She uses the phone number 402-915-2354, her email is supposedly claramenson@gmail.com, she says she's from Omaha, Nebraska, and uses the story that she is being deployed to Afghanistan and is in training so cannot call you because she is not allowed to use a cell phone (yet she was able to text??). It's total BS and a scam!!! BEWARE

Great! I will forward your info to PayPal right away and they will send you an invoice with all the instructions on how to purchase my car. You will have to deposit the money with PayPal, they will hold your payment until you get the car and you inspect it for 5 days. If by any reason you don't like it you can immediately send it back on my cost and PayPal will send all your money back. Just looking in Car.com for under priced 2006-2011 Corvetes I find aprox 3 cars a day I turn in to their  FRAUD notification department. This is a majo BIG scam using form E-mails with massive ads in national online listing services. They have banking accounts set up and they have fradulent professional PayPal forms that look more real then the real PayPal forms. I can't believe the FBI allows this to the extent it is happening with dozens of fradulent car ads a day for months and months!


Ads may have a contact name of Helen, Charles, Victoria etc etc .......Then the emails come from cynthia kerr.  If you like your bank account dont give it out to these thugs operating out of Ethopia, a Nevada Federal Prison, or Burma.  If a deal is too good to be true ....... Don't let em get YOU~

She tried getting my bf, who is currently in afghanistan to complete the transaction with her. When he forwarded the emails to me, I immediately noticed they were scripted and looked her up. I told him after finding this site that it was a scam, but I replied to her telling her that I would like to get it for him as a welcome home gift. I am going to keep this goin as ling as I can. I actually called her as well. Sh is so excited, thinking she is getting my money soon. It seems to me that being she is using comcast for email, comcast could be contacted to see who pays that bill. It's not like yahoo or gmail, where anyone could access it.  Comcast is a paid service.
It has angered me so much that she/they would do this. And to think that my boyfriend is fighting for her freedom, the freedom that allows her to use the Internet in this manner!!  We need to figure out a way to take this freedom away from her. I will keep it going, going as far as to fake transfer receipts, etc. I want to bust her!!
