The number is for The National Republican Senatorial committee.  They are exempt from state and federal "do not call" lists, but if you call 1-855-303-9266, you can have your number removed from their calling list.

Apparently applying for a job on line gives your number to a slew of telemarketers.

I just want a job an income.  I have none that is why I applied for one not to be harassed telemarketers.

just got a call after signing up to get free Six Flag tickets, they are posting on Facebook to get 4 free tickets to Six Flags, after I figured it was some kind of scam, right after I clicked off the page my cell started ringing

I have been getting calls from this number after I created an account on "jobs.com".  I don't know if its because I created this account or not.  I don't answer it and they don't leave a message.
