Just got a call from this number. Didn't pickup. Got a prerecorded message in my voce mail. Some guy was blabbering about lowereing credit card interest. This is BS. Prob a scam or mass marketing.

I received the same type of call today with a pre recorded message.

Received the same message yesterday, also from Doug Adams. Same limited time offer to reduce credit card rates.  Last time courtesy call.  Call back today or lose. Said call back on 888-437-2919.  If I recall correctly, it did use a name, though not mine.

i also recieved a call from this # on february 29.2010 @ 11:09 am. when i answered and said hello.he said hello once and when i asked him if i could help him he just stayed on the phoone just breathing and then quickly hung up. tried to call back but the # wasnt working. i believe these phone calls we are all recieveing may have something to do if we are all looking for jobs online possibly craigslist.because not only am i getting these random calls but also random emails in my spam box. people just requesting to hire a receptionist/personal assistant but to work from their homes and they all request the same emails in response requesting your:

Claims "he is calling you back because you spoke last week about lowering your credit card interest rates", but calls you "buddy" or "guy" so you know he isn't and you didn;t. (he does not even know your name).

The message is probably pre-recorded.

Thanks for the message! I just got exactly the same voicemail on my cell (I don't know how they got my number!) and the guy ("Adam") told me to call the 1-888 number.  The number he called from was with 636 area code.  I was very confused and almost called back, but luckily I saw your message!  Thanks a lot!!!

they called and left a voicemail on some credit card ummmmmmm sweet i dont have one yet!!!!!!

it is fake. they say you are making minimum payments on a credit card and to call back to discuss lowering your rates. they don't even know your name. its a total scam

So similar.  I saw the 573-437-2919 number calling while I was at work.  10:53 today in Washington.  Started out saying "Hey you guys" said we spoke on the phone last week about lowering our interst rate/monthly payments.  Found a program for us, blah blah blah.  Said it was hi last courtesty call so call him today at 1-888-442-0803.  

So I am curious, where did this guy/company get all of our numbers.  I got the call on an ATT cell phone...anyone else?

Me too in Washington state. Called claimed to be Doug Adams and that we had spoken last week. Provided number to call of 1 888 442 0803.

It's all  a scam - stay away ! You know from the messages here they simply keep trying different approaches to con you.

I got the same message with the same thing , where they cut off the opening message. I thought it was a real call, so I called it back. The woman was very very nice, but they wouldn't id themselves at all... something about it made me really wonder. When I asked about the call, she said it was probably a mis-dial, because they don't have random peoples informations.. so wierd..glad I did some searching. Said the name of company was Debt Relief center, for which there are a ton, when you google them.

got this call about 20 minutes ago, male voice, just said "hi".  I didn't call back, you know, ex boyfriends and all, but decided to look online.  Glad I did! this is my cell and only certain folks have this number!

Got a call from this number, said all the things everyone else is saying: "since you're only making the minimum payments we could lower your interest rate for you."  And the message claims we spoke last week... NOPE!  Thanks for all the other feedback everyone else left, too!

I picked up my phone, and all I got was a nervous "Hi" and then my phone ended the call. I looked on this website for anybody who has had the same problem, and it seems like many people have experienced this caller. I'll be sure to remember the number

yup, just got a call from this number.  i've been waiting for a call for a phone interview so when the phone rang, i got psyched!  what a let down!

Just got a call from 1-573-437-2919 and I have no idea who it was.  I said hello this is Josh and no answer.  Few seconds later the caller hung up.  What the hell.

Very strange call from 1-573-437-2919.  Person by the name of Adam called and left a different number 1-888-442-0803.  He said we spoke last week about lowering interest rates on my credit card hmmm I have spoken with no one, he called my cell phone number and I would not give that number to a credit card company, I use my land line for that type of communication.  Sounds very fishy to me.

Did not answer but this number called and left a vm.

I also received a call from this number on a cell. Only family and friends have the number.

I just got a call from this number to my cell phone, which I have listed on my resume on different websites. They said Hi and nothing else. I called back and it wouldn't go through

Caller just said hello and then nothing else.

Received the voicemail today in Seattle to my AT&T cell. I thought the call started with "hey, guy" lol but it could have been "hi."

Called me at 1:29 pm PST- I'm in Seattle.  Didn't answer, no voice mail.

Just got the call 30 seconds ago.. Did not answer it, came here first.
