It's the Missouri Career Center calling with a job opportunity when you sign up for unemployment.  :-)

A man from this number rang my cell phone twice while I was at work, leaving an unclear message which sounded like "This is Kirkwood Pet Sales.  I'm just calling to see how he's doing.  Give me a call back.  You know my number."  I have no clue what this guy was talking about.  

573-522-0000 is the general exchange # for the State of Missouri.  my son is a corrections officer at the prison and when they call foe him. This is the number that shows up.  It also shows up when the Dept of Revenue, Unemployment, Hwy Patrol call as well.  IT IS NOT A NUMBER YOU CAN  CALL BACK.

Just received a call from this number. It was a recorded message from the Missouri Career Center - Work Force Development with a job opportunity for me. I applied for unemployment and set up a job search online. They give a number to call if you are interested.

they call once every 2 minutes for the past 30 minutes, no one speaks but there's a beep sound every 2 seconds. i stayed on the line for a minute but still no voices, just beeping. if missouri wants to get a hold of someone, they're doing it all wrong.

same number keeps callingme, dont' leave it long enough for me to answer

not an issue because I paid all my taxes. so it must be something else. I owe nothing to any state department.

The number 573-522-0000 is the Missouri Dept. of Revenue, Jefferson City, Mo This is a hotline number and can only be reached by the inter office of the department.  Call 573-526-5249 and talk to them

This is the Mo State Dept of Revenue, they could also be calling about Unclaimed Property if you have filed a claim.  Very nice people!  You can check to see if you have Unclaimed Property/money through this link: http://www.treasurer.mo.gov/default.aspx

They called me and I don't even live in MO never have never will.  I am a NY resident been my whole life. So why they are calling me is beyond me.

Just got a call from this number. Seeing as I didn't know it, I didn't answer. They left a voicemail & it was an automated message from the career center about a job opportunity - working at the polling places for the election.

The voice message they left is from the department of employment in missouri - probably if you have ever claimed unemployment and received benefits it is from them - the message was automated and said they were calling about a possible job opportunity - correct, it is probably a general number, or switchboard number used by various missouri state departments, but that's just a guess - hope this helps!

I get calls from 573-522-0000 all the time, I get no answer and they never leave a message, please report them and block them for me

Just got a call from that number...sounded like someone was on the other end...I kept saying Hello...no answer and then they hung up. :-/     Guess I will wait and see if they call back....

This number (573)522-0000 IS a municipal line for the State of Missouri. The number is out of Jefferson City, MO. and is used by several departments. Mostly tho it is used by the Department of Revenue for DMV related calls and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. It is not a fraudulent number it is a number that they use for general outgoing calls to people.

I have worked for the State of Missouri for 17 years.  I was called today from this number.  This is probably someone spoofing their I D, using this number through their computer.

If it was a State of Missouri Department, it would actually show a good number and they would leave a message.

I just received a call back ( return call) from my State Representative , so this is a central hub number for several state agencies period. I called him via a different number to be clear. Thank me.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone today 8-29-11 at about 9:49 AM  called it back because it is such a weird number, just rang and rang.  Googled the # and it brought me here.

Have recieved and missed  2 calls from this number.  The first was on 8/11/2011 at 10:40 am; AND again  on 8/12/2011 at 8:47 am.  There was no area code on my caller id but the name showed Missouri State.  When I try to call back it just rings and rings.  How do I get it to stop.

It's from the Missouri Department of Revenue.  They left a message about my state taxes.
