when i answered thought I heard somebody then heard nothing call disconnected shortly after

Phone rang, a guy said "hello", than hung up after I asked who it was calling me.

I got the call at 10:59AM Central on my cell. (Sprint) Tried to call back, the number was disconnected.

Didn't recognize the call, sent it to voicemail.  Here is a transcript of the message I received.

"Hey guy it's uh Rick Morgan, hey sorry it's taken me so long to get back to ya, uh I've just been real busy with this new program here that's just come across my desk.  Uh it can lower your interest rate to as low as 1.5% and cut your monthly payment in half. Uh on your credit cards and I do see here that you're only making minimum payments on those uh so it would be a great opportunity here for ya so uh please don't hesitate and don't wait any longer uh this is the last courtesy call I that can make so uh its imperative that you give me a ring today. You can reach me here at <number omitted>. uh Again my name is Rick Morgan you an reach me here at <number omitted>."

i got that exact same message last night at work.

how does this guy know i only make minimal payments on my credit cards, i don't even have credit cards?!?!?!?!

Email from MagicJack about message left - my MagicJack never did work properly and has been expired for 2 months now!!!
"Dear magicJack User:
You received a new 0:47 minutes voicemail message, on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 04:41:36 PM in mailbox 330****** from 5737962173."

I got the same call too. The area code is in Missouri.

Got a call on my cell and business line at the same time. Caller ID on business line said "Barry C" and he left a message about low interest mortgage rates. Hangup on the cell (AT&T).

he called me at 1:22 pm (central standard time)

I tried to call it back but it said "the number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording" It wasn't the usual (the number you are trying to reach is disconnecting or is no longer in service)... bit. It was very strange.

got a call from 573-796-2173, i didn't answer because i was in class. I listened to my voicemail and there was a cut off automated message that started at -- 800-676-9314 uh again the name's Rick Morgan you can reach me here at 800-676-9314. (end of message) im in the chicago area with an 815 area code from verizon (this was recieved on my cell phone) i'm not calling him back..

I don't think this will help anything, but I got the same thing you guys got. I answered my Alltel phone, he said hi and then nothing else, so I hung up. Called back and it was not a working number.

i just got the same call a few minutes ago, he said UH...Hi, then he hung up. Im on an AT&T cellphone.

I didn't answer my phone in time but on a voicemail (he) left said that he saw I was only making minimum payment, and said this was my last chance to contact him. He wasn't very descriptive and he sounded very nervous and was talking kinda fast. WEIRDO!

Yep, just got the same call.  AT&T customer as well, but it appears this came through google voice?  The same call went to my home and my cell at the same time.

This number just now called my work phone. I gave my small intro and there was nothing. I said HELLO? and heard nothing. I then wrote down the number and heard a quick HI and then he hung up. WTF???

Somebody has called me from this number said "Hi" and just hung up. Googled it and ended up here. I guess this is a fishy call.

He just called my cell. he said hello and nothing more. I hung up after 15 seconds. Did anyone try to call the number back?

Got a call from the same number....didn't answer....checked voicemail and the same message from some Rick Morgan "courtesy call"....SCAMMER for sure.

Fraud/fishing call. Said "Hi" then cut off. I called back thinking it was a cell phone call from someone I may know...maybe breaking up and loosing signal...but I found that that number is "not in service" which makes me wonder how they called me on it in the first place? Anyway, it's a scam call for sure.

Just received a call from this number too. Heard a voice but he was gone before I could really answer. Frustrating when one's child is in the hospital and you're waiting from a call from her doctor.

Yes; this number called on my cell phone at 1:50pm (central time) and said "Hi..." then there was no sound and then the call disconnected. I called back just to find out it said "this number is not in service". Fishy. This says "SCAM" all over it!

Got a call on my Sprint cell a moment ago. Guy said, "Hello" and after a few seconds the call was disconnected. Called the number back and got a message saying the number was not in service.
