Thank you for posting this. I just got the same deal. He asks to ship the item and wants to pay with cashier's check.

This individual is attempting a craigslist scam on me.   He or she offered to send me a cashiers check in excess of the amount of the item for sale.  He or she is not local and did not want to see the item in person.  The scam is they send you a cashiers check for more than the item (with some weak story as to why) and then ask you to wire the balance.  The cashiers check is likely fake.
