Note: exact date/time/incoming ph#/caller-ID/comments. Then file simultaneous complaints online (or by phone call) with your telecom and with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Save records. There is new interagency work on these. Do it now.

I used to tell them that I wasn't the one to make the decisions in the family and if they would hold the line for a minute I would get that person and then hand the phone to my 3yr old son.  Toddler chatter usually shuts them up and they eventually stopped calling, lol

ALL unsolicited calls today are SCAMS.  I can't stress this enough.  NEVER answer to talk to any number on your phone that you do not know!  There is NO LAW that says you have to answer incoming calls!  There are aps out there that you can block everything except your legitimate call list.  This is what it has come to, the ONLY solution.  For all the utility companies etc, I do business with, I have a special email address just for them!  Check it once in a while.  I have adopted this, and it eliminates 100% of criminal activity.  If you talk to these scums, you are only verifying to them that the number is "live' and then they share it with all their criminal friends!  There is NO SUCH thing as a legitimate collection agency, they are ALL criminals, violate all FCC and other federal telcom laws.  There are now dozens of these fake collections companies out there, because basically 100% of people have had at least one late issue in their recent history, and these criminals know you will be easy to steal a few dollars and your credit card number!  DON"T BE SCAMMED!  NEVER TALK  TO THESE PEOPLE, NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!

I received a phone call from this number and asked that I be removed from the list because I don't have a credit card and didn't want one.  The lady was real rude and said now I will make sure u get a call back. I really don't think that this is from an actual company because If so there customer service sucks.  It just irritates me that someone calls my phone and then is rude to me for nothing.

it has nothing to do with any account you have.  they are trying to get you to sign up for a credit card.  Sometimes its Discovercard, sometimes you never get that far.  they are calling from an auto-dialer.  they're rude and i had one who had started using foul language to me because i insisted he identify himself and his company.  They come from several area codes but it is all the same company calling.  When i threaten to report them they curse and hang up.  and i'm on the do not call list. they call my house phone and cell phone.  i dont understand why nothing is done about them.

Received a call from them on my cell phone.  Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.

If this is as mentioned above, then this is a really old CRIMINAL SCAM.  I've been getting calls like this for years, but I don't even have any credit cards. They claim to work with you to reduce your credit card interest rate but they really just want to get your financial information so they can steal your identity.

I say, call you congressman and tell them you want them to get the FCC, FTC and phone company executives to come explain to their committee why they aren't doing anything to stop it. They (your congressman) aren't doing anything useful for you anyway...

Good luck with that! What "company" are you going to report? What phone number? They won't give you a valid company name, because they are criminal scam artists. They jsut say, " Account Services", to try to trick you to think they are the account services department of your credit card company. The phone number that is showiong up on your caller ID is fake - it is not a working number. So, good luck reporting it.

I say, call you congressman and tell them you want them to get the FCC, FTC and phone company executives to come explain to their committee why they aren't doing anything to stop it. They (your congressman) aren't doing anything useful for you anyway...

I wonder why the FCC has to have a contest to see who can find 'Rachel at Card Services' before THEY do!

FCC cracks down on cell phone robocalls-March 15, 2013

"Earlier this year, the FCC launched a contest to find the best solution for blocking robocalls on both landlines and cell phones. The winner, who will be selected on April 15, will receive $50,000 and a trip to Washington to present the solution."

Because we keep re-electing a bunch of incompetent morons. Congress is like a bunch of spoiled, selfish children. I say throw the lot of them out, and elect a whole new batch every 2 years, 4 or 6 years. Sooner or later they will get the message.

And, 619-306-9089, 720-409-2532,708-417-2636, 310-215-9808, 216-400-8002, 818-539-6135, 406-312-4768, 949-286-3973, 248-498-3808, etc.

NONE of them are valid numbers. They are all spoofed numbers.

If you want to do something useful, maybe call your congressman, and tell them to do something about it. Passing another law won't help. Make them bring the FCC and the phone companies into their committees and testify how they are going to address it. Let them do something useful for a change.

Thanks for posting this info.

Helps to understand where the do***e bags are coming from.

Has anyone tried *57?  This is supposed to track the number and send it to your local police dept.

What a shame that MaBell and all the cell phone companies can't come up with some software that cooks the ears of these fks.
