Got the same scam. Being a police officer I knew it to be a scam. Don't fall for it.

rec'd a call from 575-267-2935 yesterday on my cell didn't answer. come back to work today and the same person called spoke to our receptionist to gave me a message stating that the person is a middle east person giving name of Frank Newman, come on  and then also stating he is from Bryant and Snyder Law Firm.  check and there is no such law firm
they have been calling constantly something needs to be done about these scammers

I just got the same exact call not too long ago that's why I googled they butts... They just called my job as well and I couldn't believe it The law office name is Brain Schneider OMG!!!!! JERK OFFS

Just got off the phone after they left a message stating to call them back. They stated authorities would be arresting me Thursday for a loan I defaulted on. I have never taken out a loan at all except thru sallie Mae for school. Scary part is they claim to have an affidavit with my name and social on it and when I asked for my social he read it correctly to me. I don't know what kind of scam they are running or how they got my private information but they need to be stopped immediately.

Yep! And then he proceeded to call me the n word after I informed him that I would be contactingy local authorities! How did these scum bags get my number?!

Crimestoppers? Well, there's a new twist. Still a lame one, but a different one anyway.
This just shows how desperate these frauds are getting. Their scams aren't working so well anymore. Knowledge is power..and the naive and innocent are gaining in power.

They called me to today and told me charges was being filed with Crimestoppers and in 2 days the police will be showing up to my job to arrest me for charges for a loan I never heard of or received. I cursed themOUT! Complete lies and a complete scam trying to scare people into giving them your hard earnedoney.

I have recieved calls as well but this is the 1st time from this number. They also call from either a blocked number or 454 number and both numbers give the same story heavy india accent women or man and lots of noise in the back ground! They have also called my work and know my personal info all the way down to my internal work extension

Yes got that same call! They ain't called my job that I know off! Do you guys realize we were all called around the same time! I have absolutely NO IDEA how they got my phone number and they got some nerve calling an harassing/threatening me! There has to be a way to report these IDIOTS!!!!!! I mean they lost they mind calling and leaving such ridiculous mess on my phone and keep calling. I am BEYOND ANNOYED

This has got to stop. These people think they can get away with threatening people to hand over their hard earned money. It is a scam! When they contacted me I read them their entire script before they could start in. They laughed and hung up.
Please know that you do not have to give them a cent and I believe you have the right to sue if the harassment continues. I was informed that contacting an FDCPA attorney is the best way to handle these type of phone calls. Look up the acronym on Google to find one near you.

just keep calling them and they will stop they will try to scare you but ask for all the information from them and tell them you will press charges for harrsing..they stop caliing me

I just reseived the same call same think they told yall they told me I called them and told them to stop the Harasing and that I would press charges for calling my work and Harrasing.....they did not want to give me all of their information and hung up on me called them back like five times and they would not answere..they blocked my call....so its a scam they want us to pay them 75 dollars for some loan I never applied for .There names Shawn Ericka 5752672935

I got that same phone call.  The threats were even the same. I explained to a heavily accented man who said his name was Michael that I had never taken out a loan other than my student loans. He asked me if I was sure.  I told him yes I was sure. When I asked him who the original loan was through he told me it didn't matter that he had that information but he would not give it to me. Said that I would be arrested Monday morning and held in jail for at least 36 months.  And as soon as he got off the phone with me he would forward the proper paperwork to the State Attorney Generals office and that I would be arrested Monday morning at my work or at my home.  The scary part is although I did not confirm it he had my SS#.  But I have never taken out a loan with the company he said he worked for. I also told him I wanted a copy of all the paperwork he had sent to me.  He said the authorities would have it with them Monday morning and then he hung up.

They called me and told me the same thing. They are scammers that are from another country. They have many phone lines and different folks that call. Don't give them your debit information!

I was harrassed at work and by cell. How they even got my extension creeps me out.  I asked what it was for and they tried to big talk me, like you don't know...I'm like no. Told him do not call me anymore!

Called for one of the gentleman I work with and said he was a lawyer. Lots of noise in the background, heavy accent, didn't want to give me the name of his firm.  I call scam, told him so, and hung up.

They called my cell today and left a message telling me to call them that very second I got their message, probably have my attorney call them, he said his name was 'Rodney so and so'. He said it was a time sensitive matter and if they don't hear back from me that all they can do is wish me good luck. Shortly after they left the voicemail they called my work and left the same message. Several weeks ago, I'm not sure if it was the same guy, but I did answer the call and he was telling me that they were taking legal action against me because I apparently never paid back a loan I got from them. He theatened that I would be served papers, taken to court, and locked up. With that being said, I've never ever taken a loan from them, nor have I applied for one from them therefore they shouldn't have had any of my information. The number shows as unknown on caller ID but this number was given by 'Rodney' to reach him. 575-267-2935. So I've been told to just ignore them and report this as a scam. I'm tired of these jerks scammers. I just want them to leave me alone!
