Just got the same call. They wont tell me anything unless I verify the information, and that is not going to happen. So I always tell them they are being recorded for my "Scam and Learning" safety and that makes them irrate. Then I hand the number off to someone else who likes to irritate them.  I report the number and the name they use to the BBB. I got calls from the same dorks last week. The only thing different was the fake name and one number in the phone number. I kept calling them back and asking for information such as, where can I get my summons from, what is the name of the process server that I am waiting on, when is the court date, how come my county does not have the paper work on file if the date is set already. They get pissed and lay off for a few days. I have made sport of it now because they have been such persistent a--holes. Good luck

They have an Indian accent. They say you owe them money and if you don't pay you are going to be arrested. They have your ss#. They got it from a payday loan place that you have frequented. I guess that's what happens when you give out your info online.  I played along with him for a long time. Then told him I was ready to go to jail and that he should send the police on over. Then I called him back about 5 times with prank calls. Someone must be falling for it or they wouldn't be so persistent.

I received a lot of calls from 58-372-2828 yo could tellitws a call center.
The guy says I have some kind of law suit  and when I tell him I am on to his scam --- he says I am going to jail ---- he calls me at work and at home

earlier today i recieve the same phone call from a mark douglas with the same number 580-372-2828 he had leftme a massage stating that i was being sued by a loan company that i never heard from and said the police was gona be arrested on tuesday and told me he wish me good luck if i didnt call back with my Attorney but what scared me is he had my last four numbers of my ssn.... who can i report this to i live in boston,mass

I JUST GOT THE SAME CALL...AND IT HAS BEEN THE SAME GUY...Hindi Accent...and he has called several times before and has changed his name from Gary Foster to Jason Lee and now its Mark Douglas...I asked him the same questions...before as to they firms associated with , licensing number and address and what type of lawsuit...he played it well...told him that this will be reported and ...he got nasty and called me names and said god will strike me down...So who do I call to make this type report???

I just got THE SAME CALL saying I was in trouble for something and I needed to send my information to them from 580-372-2828 from a very poor English speaking man who claimed he was going to cost me my job, sen the police to my home and make my life miserable. I wish him the best of luck since he is under the impression that Louisiana has counties and that the name of the "county" is the town that I live in. I knew it was a scam right away, but how unnerving to be threatened and verbally assaulted let alone exploited. How do these people get our information? What can we do to stop them! Can legal charges be perused?

I just ignore them. I have taken to putting my earbuds and putting the music up as loud as possible.  Made one of them scream.  funny as sh*t.

I called the Lawton Police Dept. at 1-580-581-3271 - They told me they can not take out of state reports and to file a complaint with my local police dept. - I am sure if they get enough calls about this they will take action.

Laura, they are frauds. Alert your employer as to what's going on. Show them this thread. This can happen to anyone, including your boss.
The nits behind these scams are sub-human. Your best bet is to laugh at them. Tell your coworkers to do the same. They'll get pissed. They may try to tie up phone lines and they're sure to launch into avalanches of illiterate profanity. Just keep laughing. The sooner they figure out there's no money to be scammed, the faster they'll give up and move on to the next target.
People have caught on to these "wanna' be bad-guys" and their desperation is showing. Ignore them, block their calls, don't answer or mock them. Whatever floats your boat. But be sure to let everyone you know about these insects. They breed like fleas, but if their food source dries up..they die.

These people are nuts!!! They have called my cell and my EMPLOYER. I have asked them several times to not call my place of employment and they refuse to stop. I do not know what to do.

I received they same phone call once back on the 13th of March. An again today. Today I call them back and told he guy I had went to my local police station and there was no paperwork file. I want to know when would the paperwork be available for me to view. The guy with the heavy accent claim it wouldn't be ready until the morning. I told him cool I will be at the court first thing in the morning to pick it up. He start to get upset and tell me I have to wait fog he sheriff to come to my home or place of business. I informed him I will already be a the court house in the morning so why couldn't I get my papwerwork then. He got rattle and hung up on me.

They also call from 916-395-0000 and from a # with a 415 area code.  Feel free to tell them you have an attorney and give them a phone number.  Any name and number should do.  They never call it.  They actually gave me a date and amount of what they supposedly deposited into my bank account and there was never a such transaction.  They get your information if you put information about yourself on the internet applying or receiving payday loans.  I am 100% sure that's how they got my information.  Watch your bank accounts closely.  :)

Some Towel-Head called threatening me, I told him, I screwed his 72 virgins and fed them pork chops, he said f---k you, and hung up, hasn't called back since.

This Asain man calls almost everyday 4-5 times all hours and says he is with the US Goverment and that he wants to speak to me or my Attorney of record ASAP or I will be arrested. It has been going on for 3 years. Now I will get an Attorney, this person has had enough and I am going to press charges or do what ever I can to get some justice.

If you get an annoying call from 1-580-372-2828 this is a scam !!!!!!! They called my husband threating him saying he would be arrested for defaulting on a loan he never had. I got on the phone and asked them to give me all the information on the fake loan--he wouldn't give it to me so I told them I called the local POLICE and they would be here to talk to them he HUNG UP so I kept calling back to harass them and kept getting the dial tone

They have called my job too its ridiculous the things people do for money they stated they would make my life a living hell for the next five months

I just spoke with these knuckle heads and told them that I refered them to the local police department and FBI's and they got very hostile, rude and upset. Please do not fall for the SCAM! Just let them know that your local police department is aware and they are being persured.

The message they leave is of a "threatening" nature in that they make you think you might be in major trouble. You are not it is a SCAM. I spoke to one of the callers once and told him he was full of S%#T and he got very nasty. I hung up on him as he had called both my cell number and my place of business (which is illegal) harassing me. He then proceeded to call me 20 times in a row at work, I would ignore the call and a few seconds later he would call again. At first I just ignored the call but finally after a few mins of the nonsense picked up and told him that it was illegal for him to call me at work and harass me. I was calling the cops to report the number. He argued with me and I hung up. He blocked the caller ID and I started getting the restricted/unknown caller ID for about another 3-5 mins one call after another. Finally he stopped that was about 4-6 months ago. Yesterday I got a call/message on my cell & work and the exact scripted message was left on both. The call came in from US Cellular 580-372-2828.

I just got same call 15 minutes ago..and i am a law dtudent and I called back and demanded to speak to supervisor. person you coiuld barely understand claimed to be an attorney when I told him I was a law student. then proceeded to break all kind of interstate laws. definately a scam. to bad for them. My aunt works in the Attorney generals office in tulsa, oklahoma.. so now THEY WILL be investigated. I am going next week to visit my chldren in oklahoma and i am ordering an intelus report now. I am going to make a little visit to a;ll them dear people.

Called my mobile, called my work, played stupid when I asked them about the multiple complaints against them online, said if I couldn't take care of the debt immediately they'd be calling a neighboring county's police department to issue an arrest warrant. I called the police department and they said that the caller was full of crap, only law enforcement can issue a warrant.

These people are trying to get money by harassment please stop them

Tell they to f*** themselves. Once you do that, they quit calling.
