called and asked for a completely different person than me.  I said this person does not live here, does not work here and I am tired of getting calls for this person.  She says well we may have the wrong person but we have the right number.  She said she was calling from the Oklahoma Vietnam Veterns Association and would I like to donate money to help homeless vietnam veterans.  I responded by asking if she could send me some information in the mail.  (This is my standard reply to anyone calling to ask for money)  She said sure we can, asked my name which I told her and then she said well we have all your info in the computer and we will get something out to you.  I ask well you were callin gthe wrong person so you might have the wrong address.  She says well I dont have access to that information you have a nice day and hung up!!  

My opinion is that any place actually asking money for a cause will send you information in the mail.  Never pay someone over the phone for ANYTHING!!

Got call at 3:13 pm.  I wasn't home.  No message left.

This same guy has called for me many times over the last year representing different organizations.  Most recently, it has been the Oklahoma Vietnam Veterans of America. If my wife answers, he says he will call back later.  This evening she told him I no longer lived at this residence.  This is probably the third or fourth time she has told him that.  He is persistent. I think he told my wife his name was Nathan.

They called and there was nothing on the line, you could hear like wind, but no one answer, when we say hello, have been getting calls from them for the last month.

Said they were from the oklahoma vietnam veterans

CALLED AND ASK FOR MY TO TALK TO DIANE. THAT IS MY MIDDLE NAMES AND I ALWAYS GO BY MY FIRST NAME. I WAS SUSPICIOUS SO I TOLD THE THAT I WAS THE DAUGHTER OF DIANE AND THAT SHE WAS NOT HOME , I ASK FOR THE PERSON'S NAMES AND ALL HE SAID WAS THAT HE WOULD TRY AND CALL DIANE TOMORROW.

Called my dad's home # and asked "is William home?" Amyone who knows my dad calls him Bill. My dad is a 77 y/o heart patient and does not need to deal with these people so I lied and said he isn't available. "Is this his wife?" "No, I'm not, but can I give him a message?" "This is Justin somebody-or-other, just tell him I called and I'll catch him another time." We suspect this is someone claiming to be fund-raising for the Oklahoma State Troopers.
