Marketing to chiros - p's o' sh*t!

I also received a call from "John" and he said he is from Paychex. He tried to arrange a meeting with a person from Paychex for me (although he did not know her last name...). I believe this is fraud, and he was planning to retrieve some information from me. When I asked for his phone number he gave me 585-218-6090.
After the call ended, I tried that phone number and it seems like this is not a real phone number.
I searched that number on Google and I reached your forum.

It seems strange that he is "from Paychex" and still did not know our address nor other basic info. This should be reported to the police.

I answered.  It was Barry Bonds trying to sell me steroids.  I told him 'nah'. He called me a baby and hung up

Got a call for a few days, a lady on the phone said they are concentrix, asking fuel tax??
Must be a fishing company.........

I received a call on this number 5852185300 and it was a customary professional call from some company following up to see how we liked attending an event they invited us to.  In other words, there is no hard and fast rule about who is calling you with this caller-id --it's some kind of VoIP exchange service.

Got a call from this number claiming we owed money on our gas bill. We are paid up. Sounds like a scam to me.

Keep calling my business. I don't answer calls from numbers that don't display the company name and don't recognize the number.  So annoying.  They called at 4:21pm I let the answering machine pick up.  They listened to the message then hung up.  @ 4:23pm they called again!!   So I answered all snotty and just said "Hello?!"  a guy asked for my husband (who's the President of our S corp)  I told him he had the wrong number.  He asked if this was "name of my company" and I said NO!  Hopefully they won't call back!  Cuz I'll have some words for them!

585-218-5300 is on a DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK NUMBER Sheet that has been composed for the Office of the President and Vice-President of the Corporation I am employed with.   They have attempted numerous times to reach someone but because of the "List", the incoming calls are rejected.

Thank God for caller ID and the input on this site.

It was Ryder Trucking Rental. Wanting peoples names and refused to leave a message. Very rude man with no respect for others don't answer!

called this morning, left no message.  I called back and the answering system identified them as concentrix.

Pittsburgh Post Gazette (one of their companies they telemarket for) wanting me to extend my subscription

called me around 6am - I didnt answer. called three times in a row. no message

Got a call from this number to confirm that we had been receiving the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, to which we have recently subscribed.  PPG must be one of their clients.

Call to my cell from this number at 8:01 AM.  Did not pick up, as didn't recognize the area code.  No message left.

Harassment

I received a call from this number. No message was left. I am in a 724 area code, so I did not recognize the area code location.
If the company is calling about business concerns as stated above, why are they calling my personal cell phone?

We received a call from this number and the sales representative was very pushy and down right rude. If you are trying to get someone's business by soliciting them, it may be beneficial to be polite and courteous to the person answering the phone.  You may be talking to the owner, not just the receptionist who you believe you can be rude too.

Concentrix also is an employee sourcing company for MANY companies as well. If you apply to SYNNEX this company will call to set up an interview. Not a complete scam but they do call companies and phish for business...located in Pittsford, NY, near Rochester.

I answered the call they asked for the owner by name. Said they wanted to open up lines of communication between their local person and our owner to compete for our business in regards to fleet management. However he would not give me a call back number, I find that very odd if you really want someone's business why would you not want them to call you back?

They claimed they were from Pittsburgh Post Gazette, but now after reading the above, I am glad I didn't answer.  The caller i.d. said Concentrix.  The caller claimed my paper was in danger of not being renewed.  I renew it online or with the PITTSBURGH POST GAZETTE.  Not Concentrix.   So it appears this is another scam organization that is looking for ATM or CC info.

This number responeded to an inquiry that I made online. Very helpful! They took care od my needs.

Caller claimed to be from Office depot but ID showed as Concentrix, heard sudden yelling and cat calls in background during conversation.  Must be a telemarketing firm and not a very professional one at that.

Called and tried to get names of our employees for transportation services. Looked them up and here is what I found....My goal is to report evey call to help and identify every unwanted call.
