I just received a call from this woman Sherry Jones also.  I received a call from some other dude the other day.  They are calling me at work.  So as I am understanding all the above comments, this is a fraud scam?  She never said who she was with, but I googled the phone number and see all the notes flying around.  

Phone call from Sherry Jones, senior arbitrator at Check Systems.  Said she was at county courthours & had paperwork ready to be filed against me.  I live in Louisiana....there is no "county" court....it's a PARISH court.  Too stupid to get her facts straight!  I told her to go ahead & file it.  She accused me of being disrespectful & rude & said I could call her back when I wanted to act like an adult. She can kiss the blackest part of my a$$! I'm filing complaints with the FTC & Do Not Call list!

Thank you all for your response I turned these yahoos into the attorneies office in our state Capitol and they told me to just ignore them I will call them again because they keep calling me through out the day and FCC rules says that they are only to call you once per day. They have called me three to four times through out the day maybe even more. I will call the attorneies again in the morning and tell them that and hopefully they can put a stop to it. Sherry Jones. 585 278 1660.  Apparently sending a claim to Harris (?) county and place of employment, pending affidavit to name and social.  Says that you have refused to respond and is now listing you as non-compliant and will start legal action.  No company name is given and no details.  Numerous other reports about this same woman on the internet.

This is a scam.  Just ignore.

HI all!  I just got a call (on Skype) from Sherry Jones 585 278 1660 also saying that i owed money and that this is my final courtesy call.  She says that legal action will now be taken and that they are going to seize assets and track me via social security.  I am not a US citizen and I don't have a social security number nor any assets in the USA.  I also don't owe anyone any money and nobody could have done that in my name (as I don't live in the USA and can not borrow any money in the USA)  No company name was given by Sherry nor any details what so ever as to what this is about.  This is a scam for sure!  I see the dates on these messages.  Mrs Jones has been hitting the phones hard!

All these stories add up I just talked to them today they said I owed money for online payday loan at which I did not do my checking account was closed with one bank I in January of 2011 and they where stating that they where going to send it out to my county in 48 hours if I do not respond back ( me or a rep of me lawyer ect ect). And this is pissing me off because they said that I could settle it for five hundred bucks and I couldn't get back to them and at the start of the day they called me twice I hung up on them the first time and they called right back after I hung up on them and the FTC says they can not do that. So I'm thinking this is a big time scam because they also said they all ready sent out papers to my address and where that address was I don't live there no more but I talked to my buddy who lives there and his girl friend and they never sent a letter and there always great at getting back to me about serious mail and I'm going to report this company into the FTC I will put with this crap if anyone has any other advice let me know what I can do thank you all and god bless 800 notes

This woman called my parents house stating that I was there was a civil complaint being filed againt me for bank fraud. I called this woman back, Sherry Jones. At first she sounded legit, however the more and more I spoke with her the more I didnt believe a word she was saying. She claims I received a loan and never paid it back. I asked her for the date this allegedly occured, she informed me that it was in June 2011. I informed her I was unfortunately incarcerated from 2010 through 2012 so it was definitely not me. She asked who would have done this while I was in prison and suggested that it was my own family members then if I didnt do it myself. I kept asking for paperwork on this to which she informed me I would receive if this company decided to file charges through my county and if that was the case I would have to provide paperwork stating that I was in prison in that time frame. I told her I would be more than willing to have my FEDERAL Probation Officer send her any paperwork she needed and she didnt have much to say in response to that. I kept asking what the name of this company was and she avoided the question at all costs. Im fairly convinced this is a scam, no company name, they wont send you any information, just doesnt make much sense.

I have received repeatedly calls from Sherry Jones threatening legal action for debt which is not mine. She appears to be trying to reach someone else but has my number. I attempted to call numerous times and was disconnected. I'd like to track down this person/company and take legal action. Any ideas on how I can find out additional info?

She's just another western NY fraud. Probably in Erie County. Ignore her. If their claim was legitimate you would have received a notice of validation in the mail. If you take one of their calls, DEMAND one. If they refuse or start BS'ing, they've proven they're frauds.
The western NY fraud-shops are getting really "antsy" lately. The Indians stole all their thunder & have driven the bogus debt collection racket into the dirt.

The caller's name: Sherry Jones
The message:  We are sending legal documents to ____________ County and to your employer.  Since you did not answer the call, I am making a notation that you are "non-compliant"

The message did not include a company name or what the legal documents were in reference to.  The caller did not state "where" at the county they were sending the documents.  The caller did not reference the name of the employer and what information they were sending or why.  It seems if this was a legitimate call and not a SCAM - more information would have been provided and the legal disclaimer that this call is made in an effort to collect a debt...
