just got a call from them and told me they had issued a warrant for my arrest.  said they have a picture of me cashing a check from a closed account drawn on fleet bank in manchester nh. also my thumb print.  also they had my social security number
i now that fleet bank has been closed for about 8 years and i never had a account there.
just hang up on the jerks

These jokers just called me! and being a bill collector for over 12 years I do have some experience with these ppl ...I lauged at them when they said they were going to charge my husband with a felony! I thought it was hilarious

Yes I am from california and what it is they got your information saying you owe a cash advance.  I owe check n go and I called check  in go and they gave me there collection agency information and who to talk with in which they are mountain standard time.

These New York folks are scammers. Some how they got Check n go information about their consumers who are in collection. Collection agencies collect on behalf of the client not call you names and threaten to take you to court. It is against the law for collection agencies to threaten you. This guy said he was going to arrest me for check fraud. First of all it was an online check advance and I did not have the money to pay it back to do unforseen circumstances and all they do is write it off and put you in the system. Just like any personal loan you take out with the bank all they will do is put it in collections and report to your credit agency. These New York folks is full of stuff. Good scam, but cant get me.

I have a bunch of calls coming in threatening legal action from the State of Texas but the phone number is from New York?  Anyone seen this number
