This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities.

I received a call monday evening 8/27/12 about a payday advance. Telling me I owe the payday advance if I don't make resolution today they will be sending out a warrant for my arrest. They gave me there so called names. But would not tell me the company name,my account #. I want them to stop calling me being nasty, rude and disrespectful.

They keep calling my house from this number and says that I owe for a payday loan from 3 or 4 years ago.

I told them that I have never had a payday loan but they still call and now my husband is very upset because they keep calli g.  How do we stop them from calling.  I told them that if I owed the money then just take me to court but they will not do that.  They just constantly call allday long, every day.
