Got a missed call today.  Googled the number to see what I could find. I hope they don't call back.

However....

For those of you who say you can't get the calls to stop, don't you have call blocking? I think most phone and cell services offer that feature, don't they. Check into it.  I know my cable provider, through which I have my phone, offers it as a free feature.

Same thing happened to me tonight re: Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA and about a letter I should've received!  They keep calling me and calling me!!

I wrote to Baruch College several weeks ago and learned that this number was calling on their behalf.  I received a call from Baruch  and informed Baruch that this no. constantly called me and others.  I also informed them that, when you return the call, it just keeps ringing and no one answers the phone.  There is no way to ask these callers to stop calling.  Of course, the people making the calls denied that they made many calls and said that they would resolve the problems with no one answering, etc.  

And, here we are, in Aug. with the calls coming in once again and again the number just keeps ringing!  For Baruch, which is supposed to be a business school, they certainly picked a co. which does not know how to run their business and the result is that it makes Baruch look bad.  Neither does it help Monroe!

I wrote again to Baruch a few days ago and also today to file another complaint.

I will update this site once I hear from Baruch.

The latest call from this number came in today, Aug. 22nd at 8:07 pm.  I returned the call and no one answers.

This is the same number which has called repeatedly in the past and said that they were raising money for Baruch College or Monroe Community College and I wrote to both colleges.

I received a call from Baruch College & they told me that they had hired a telemarketing firm to raise money for them and that this was the number.  They had no idea that it was a barrage of calls and that no one was picking up.  They spoke to the telemarketers who told them that it was not true about the number of calls!!!  I told the Baruch spokesperson that I had the number on my caller ID and could show her.

She promised to have my name removed!  Here we go again!!!!

I have kept the emails and will now write again to Baruch College.

Have been receiving calls from MCC:  585-295-0706.  My husband finally answered one and they asked about the quality of his recent care at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA and proceeded to ask him to donate $1,000.  Seems like a huge scam and violation of HIPAA!!!

I have received a phone call from this number every other night for the past week around 7 PM.  They never leave a message. I called back one night but the phone just rang and rang.

They call every day regardless of the fact that I never pick up

I called both Baruch College and Monroe CC today and sent emails to both colleges giving them details of all the calls I have received, DNC complaints I have filed,  and also info from other posters on this and other sites.

This number has been calling for months and I have reported each and every call to the DNC registry.  

They do not leave a message and you cannot ask the to stop calling as the number just keeps on ringing.

They called on July 1, 2 and 3 - took July 4 and 5 off - but are making up for it day by calling twice thus far by earling afternoon, July 6th.

I finally wrote to one of my US Senators at the of June and will give him an update at the end of July.

Scammers such as this make a mockery of the DNC rules and regulations and are not concerned about any enforcement, etc.

I have received numerous calls from this number during this month.  They never leave a message.

They called on June 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 - 2x, 22, 25 - 2x, 26 - 2x, and today
June 29th.

They left a message (machine voice) on my answering machine yesterday (6/27/13) at 6:43pm ET.  Asked if we would allow them to place a small sign in our yard in exchange for a free, new security system.  They even gave us the opportunity to put our number on the Do Not Call list - yeah, right.  Not falling for that (because we're already on the list).  We never pick up the phone if we don't recognize the number!!!  We received the same message today at 3:19pm ET from another number, 480-999-5637, caller ID read "Native American".  Grrrrrrrr..............!

My name says it all....Number comes up on Caller ID as "Unknown Name." I never answer those, and haven't answered this number's calls. Still, according to my Caller ID Log, I have received 1-2 calls every day from this number for over two weeks. Fortunately, most of the calls come when I am not home. This is the most persistent fund-raiser that I have been affected by EVER!

Yes.  Vote.  Call your senator relentlessly.

And you know what Baruch got a big fat donation and NOW they seem to need money more than ever.

I just received a call from this numbet but did not answer because I did not recognize number. I'm glad I didn't answer.

Years ago I would answer calls with "Police department".

This may be the answer.  I have no affixation with MCC, but did receive my MBA from Baruch.  Likely a third party fundraiser.  Unfortunately, no recourse.  I am on the Do Not Call list, but have a relationship with my alma mater.  I suggest complaining to the school.  They pay for this service, which amounts to harassment.  Not the way to cultivate generous alumni.

I went to Baruch College in NYC, and have received calls for three nights in a row from this number. They too want me make a donation. Even when I mention that I have no intention of donating and ask not to be contacted again, they have the gall to call again the next day.

The woman who called this evening (third time) said there is no record of previous calls, and that she would make a notation of my wishes. I'm not holding my breath. There must be some sort of commission arrangement going on.

This phone number keeps on calling and calling, every night from around 6:00 to 6:45pm. Been a pest for the past 3 weeks, so from now on I'll answer "Monroe Community College... you dialed the wrong number". Best way is to pretend to be them and tell them that they have the wrong number. That's my best shot. What's yours?

I keep getting phone calls from this number everyday between 6:25pm to 6:45pm EST. I pick up and and hang up immediately. I don't even say "hello" because I know that this caller is a pest. I advise doing the same thing.

These people kept calling and i just ignored it. Someone from my family answered and they said they were calling from my college (just graduated). I only took the call because i thought it might be related to the upcoming graduation ceremony. Some retarded sounding older guy wanted to ask about my college experience which i found weird. He then proceeded to ask for a contribution of $500. I laughed and told the guy i just graduated, i have no job as of yet, and i have thousands in student loans. He then proceed to ask for $250 and i explained what i just wrote in words. He asked like three times for the $250 to establish a future relationship with his organization blah blah blah. I was like obviously i'm being too nice and english must not be a language he understands. I told him thanks for the call and hung up. Just avoid the phone # and MCC if you have a caller ID. SMELLS LIKE A SCAM  BEWARE !!!

I have received 3 calls from this number.  No message left and when I did answer they hung up.  I called back immediately and no one picked up - phone just rang and rang.  I have a son attending MCC who is living on campus for the first time this semester.

caller from this number said he was calling from mcc and needed to talk to my students parents.  How did he know my student's name? I said they are not home? I wonder what the question was...h-m-m I need to make another payment on my student's tuition? These scum bags need to be locked up!!!!!! And if this person needs to talk to me, why can't he leave a message. Right there it says he's scammin' guess we need to get the police involved.

This a***ole has called me about 10 or 12 times and never leaves a message... I would just love to get HIS home phone #

Number has called me numerous times at about 8:30 pm and asked for either one of my parents claiming she was from MCC (Monroe Community College)
