I have no idea who this is!  some guy is telling me I have a leagal case pending against me for a pay day loan which is totatlly false!  When I asked if he could submit something via mail he asked for my address.  He'd already stated he had my information in front of him!  Hopefully he won't call back!

Had the same call just now, and about a month ago had same call from an indian man with atrocious english and stating he has all my info and get a lawyer to call him immediately, don't ignore this call, all I can say if you dont respond is good luck!  Really??? you all share the same script???  This is a scam......don;t sweat it......I got tough on him/them before demanding they identify themselves, the alleged creditor, the info , the balance.....anything....he flew into a rage.....I just laughed at him and told him he was dense......stupid and idiotic to attempt to extort info from people with brains!  He went crrrrraaazy yelling something and hung up.  Did the trick....never heard from them for a month....until now...this time was a voicemail.....waiting for their return call so I can mess with them again!  losers!

These people are scam artists.  Do not fall for their tricks!  Over the past year, I have received calls from them five different times (all appear to be different numbers across the US, but they are actually coming from overseas).  It is always someone with a foreign accent, but they usually have a surprisingly American name.  They say that you have an outstanding payday loan of some sort but yet they can’t tell you the company name.  Ask them to provide proof of the so-called debt.  I have been told that I will receive it within 24 hours, no proof arrives.  If it is legit, they would be able to provide you with this information.  They will tell you that if you do not cooperate, they will send someone to your place of business within a few hours to have you arrested.  This will not happen.  Do not worry!  They say that they have an attorney going to court the next day with a judgment against you.  They do not.  Do not worry!

They have the last four digits of my SSN and the name of my bank, which I do not know how they got, but they use it to scare you.  I monitor my credit report, and nothing has been done with that information.  I have spoken to the Attorney General’s office in my state a couple of different times, and they are familiar with this scam and have basically told me that they can’t do anything about it because these people are overseas and they change their phone numbers so quickly and can’t be traced.  They suggested that I tell them they have been reported to the authorities and then hang up.  My preference has been to mess with them and I have been successful at getting them to hang up on me ;)

One day I spoke with some yahoo from one of these scammers and he actually told me he was in Pakistan.  Must have been a newbie.  Everyone else tells me they are from New York or California, etc.  What I have found to work the best to get rid of them, is get them frustrated.  Don’t let them frustrate you.  Ask them for their law firm name, ask them for their mailing address, ask them for the proof of the debt, ASK THEM QUESTIONS.  Any information they are giving you is bogus, but they aren’t expecting you to be questioning them, they are expecting you to freak out and give them money. The last person I spoke with at this number, I told him right away that the phone call was being recorded for my state’s Attorney General’s office because they were under investigation.  At first he said that was no problem, he didn’t care, and then after I asked him a couple of more questions, and mentioned that he was in Pakistan, he seemed flustered and hung up on me.  I called the number back right away, and it was “busy”.

I just called these jack weeds (Jack Smith) back after them calling me 11 times in a row consecutively, and then leaving a threatening message...I told them I have contacted the FTC, and if they call me back they will be hearing from the FBI for making terrorist threats...so far so good...

I got the same call and spoke with them. they said that i have 3 allegations against me and if i don't take care of it they will issue a warrant for me. so, i was scared but my wife google the numbers and found this site. these people are crazy they think that can get away with this.

It's a scam.  I googled this number and found all these messages.  They will keep calling back.  Just tell them you have reported them to the attorney generals office, and when they catch up with them, you are going to bring a lawsuit against them for harrasement.  That will take care of it for a while.

I am also receiving these call at my work.  The guy has an accent.  He said his name is Edward Dobson and that he is from the of Law and Investigation and that there is a warrent out for my arrest.  And If I do not call him back by 3:00pm today I will be sorry and that he wish me the best of luck for what ever may happen to me.  When the call comes throough the number o1613 shows up.  I do not know who this person is and how they got my name and number.

I agree, just happen twice to me. it was an indian guy calling. he called my work three times and then i got a voicemail so i called back and he was saying that i as going to be arrested and that i had loans out there, and then when i told him i had no idea what he was saying that he hung up on me. then my husband called the once my husband said my name he hung up and now the phone line has been busy for ten minutes.

I have received multiple calls from this company since Saturday 2/5/2011.  On saturday they called my home phone which I didn't answer as it was out of area, then they called my cell phone.  I couldn't understand what the foeign person was saying except that there were 3 charges against me and I was going to be arrested.  I put my husband on the phone with them and sensing they were a scam, told them not to call back.  They called back repeatedly, each time with my husband answering and finally threatening them with turning them in to the FCC.

They just called today again and left a phone message stating they were from the Department of Law and Investigation and that there were 3 charges pending against me and someone was going to come and arrest me if I didn't call them back at: 585-331-8324.  Then they gave my husbands name and my friends name (who stayed with us for a while) and said that they would be arrested also if I didn't call them back.
I have NEVER had a payday loan so am clueless as to what they want from me besides either money or information.  I have decided that I am going to report them to the local police and see if I can get some help in getting rid of these calls.

hey guys i have received the same call and this guy keep saying that they have a serious allegations against me..i ask him to send me a invoice to show proof that this was coming from a law office and he keep telling me that he will do that after i send him my account info...and joe i also took a payday loan and didnt pay it all back and he is saying this people file a law suit against me

This guy named jerry martin, or more like " mahacken do***ebag" saying they have a suit against me and said call immediately and avoid a serious legal matter. I took out a payday loan and didnt pay it all back. Tell them to get f****d because they can't legally do anything to you!! I seen this s*** before and its crap. Ignore there calls and they will stop calling in time.

this is a scam.  threating to throw me in jail if i don't give them my account number.  where they do that at?  caaller id shows 101613.  take my advise do not pick up or give out your personal info
