Got a call on business cell and no one there.  This number should be blocked from making calls.

Also said I filled out an on-line survey and that I had indicated that I was interested in job opportunities when I filled out the survey.  I told him I was not interested and did not fill out the survey and requested that he remove my number from his list.

No, they called a regular contract cell phone registered to NYS.

Claimed that someone in this 'house' had taken a survey and they needed to verify the information. Then he claimed that someone in this 'house' was looking for a job. Would not stop reading his prepared script. When I identified myself, he hung up.

I got a call from this number too. I didnt answer and now im glad i didnt. From reading the posts does everyone have a prepaid phone of some sort? Not sure if that might be the connection.

I noticed a missed call from this number today at 1:30 p.m.  No message but now I know not to answer.

Same as the others Asked me about the online survey I filled out, I told him no I did not fill one out, and he asked me how I was doing? so I hung up.

Since area code was from where family and friends live, I answered even though I didn't recognize the number itself. I said hello twice and finally heard a mechanical good-bye and they hung up. My phone is on the national do-not-call registry, so I've also reported them there.

called me lots of time about employment opportunity, called them back and asked the man to take out my number from their list he hanged up the phone

This number is from WN Positions.  Obviously a phishing exercise.  Why can't these b*****ds be jailed and then executed.

I answered, there was silence, then a computerized voice said "Goodbye" and it disconnected.

Received a call asking about the same questions:
1) Completed a survey from Wal-Mart
2) Asking if looking for a job

So, why is my number part of the 'do not call' registry, but I still have pay by minute when these calls come in?? Anyone else make a habit of reporting these calls to your local politicians? I do - every single time it happens.....

Caller stated I had filled out an online survey (Completely untrue, I do not do surveys). When I informed him I did not respond to any surveys, he continued on saying he was from a job recruiting agency and wanted to ask me some questions. I declined and hung up. I filed a compliant in the Do Not Call registry https://www.donotcall.gov/

Same as everyone else. Perfectly happy with my job, I don't think I would fill out a survey, especially in my field of work.
I looked up the WN careers and they have apparently been having issues with this because its right on their site:

I got a call from this number too...and kept saying hello...eventually a recorded voice said "goodbye"

Got a call from this number and at first got no response after I said hello, then a man came on and said he was from WN something or other and that I was looking for a job the last time I was online.  I said he had me confused with someone else.  He said his name was Joseph Peters and when I pressed for more information, hung up on me.

I called the # back, a recording said "Hi, you have reached WN Positions, we are excited about talking to you about job opportunities" (or something along those lines) - I hung up instantly.

I got one like Heather - I interrupted him and asked who he was with, he wouldn't rename the company after talking really fast. He said I had done a survey online and checked the box to indicate I was interested in job opportunities, didn't I remember? I said no, I haven't done any surveys in many many months, and he said "oh" and hung up on me.

Called me from this number today stating "you recently filled out an online survey and said you were interested in a job". I replied by saying, "no I did not, remove my name from your list because this is a solicitation call". He then said, "no it's not, I'm calling about your job inquiry". I can tell you I have not filled out any survey nor am I looking for a job. They called me about this while I was at work and I'm the boss!!!

They said they were calling because I filled out an on line survey (I never did), they asked if I would want to go back to school if I did not have to take out loans... I told them I am in school now and I will graduate next month so NO. He quickly said "I can call back another time" and hung up. Some kind of scam for sure!

When I answered a call from this number, no one was there.  Probably a telemarketer
