Me too! Knew name! Jerk! I know it's from one of the dating sites! What are they trying to accomplish? Is there any theft risk?

got text saying my facebook name then it said"Sry .. mi Phone 's bout to die ;(
didn't replay then got text "add me on Y! mesngr text flirt76" weird thing tho the number was 330-516-7559 does anyone know more about this its creeping me out

Got a txt that said "Hey Scott",  I replied "?", They replied "Oops, mi celly's about to die :("

I didn't respond because, while I do have friends in NYC I don't know anyone that talks like that. Figured it was bunk.

I have a Gmail account with my first name, facebook, and eBay as well as craiglist ad's for items right now. Could've gotten my first name and phone number from several places.

I just received the same info,...& asked who this was.  Got the "add me on Y! mesngr textieflirt25.  
They must work for Obama and want something for FREE.

I got the the same message.

BUT... HOW DO THEY KNOW OUR NAMES?????

Someone is txting me from this number and will not say who they are.

This is the third "hello" message in the past few days, from three different numbers. They are phishing.
Don't respond. To the owners of these numbers, we will report you to the FCC if these unwanted texts continue.

Same thing as you guys!! I got the: "Hi [name]!!!" text.
i respectfully answered: "Sorry i don't have this #, who's this?"
Then i got: "If you want to know who i am add me on yahoo messenger, id textflirt76"
I asked if I knew them and got no response.

I was wondering if this was a friend playing a joke on me, or if it was a spam thing, and it looks like it was the latter. Glad you guys posted this so i now know. Did anybody call the number to see who picks up?? I thought about it, but then decided i'd rather not have that conversation.

i received a text from this number with "Hi [My Name]"
i replied with who's this?
they responded with "Add me on yahoo messenger to find out who I am"

I just received a text with "Hi [My Name]"
I replied with who is this? with no further reply
Any idea what or who this is????
